Gorgeous 5* hotel in a safe area of Buenos Aires. Excellent food

Could not get the TV to work. They said they were sending someone but no one came. The breakfast is quite expensive. One morning I settled for the Continental breakfast, but they did not let me choose my own bread. I felt the waiters, however polite they were, were behaving like food police. This hotel is so afraid that people would steal their buffet that they literally force you to sit at a table to serve you. They don't get the bigger picture. Otherwise, you get the thrill of a grand hotel like it was 100 years ago.

Having booked through booking.com and agreed a price which clearly stated "including taxes and charges" and then to be charged an extra 21% vat on top plus 4% charge for paying by cash, I am very disappointed and flustrated to have been taken advantage of.

Arrival from overseas flight and not finding room available and having to upgrade. Felt like being cheated

breakfast was reasonable only down side, limited spread and the same all 3 days we stayed appreciated frsh fruit and juices and cappucino. etc charges to order omelettes, eggs , pancakes, waffles etc. room was nice and clean bedding and sheets were excellent

no coffee machine in the room the door men were not very helpful , didn't offer to help us with luggage when we checked out in the breakfast etc charge for omelettes, pancakes etc

Extremely grand top of the line hotel that did not disappoint in any respect. The hotel itself is modeled after an 18th century European grand hotel and is flawlessly maintained. The entire first floor is fabulous anywhere you look, from the elegant bar to the exquisite restaurant - potentially the best breakfast set up in terms of ambiance we've ever been. Grand, natural light with a fantastic breakfast spread - something for everyone, with impeccably attentive service at every level of staff interaction. Martin the bellman gave us some great tips, the concierge knew what they were doing and worked hard to help us, the massage at the spa was great as were the gym facilities. Typically hotel gyms outside the US are subpar despite the quality of the hotel but this one was great - two nice rooms, very clean and pleasant with all the equipment you need. Our room was a junior suite and was an extremely good value for our money. Lastly the location was perfect. The grandest part of BA replete with cultural institutions a stone's throw away, beautiful parks and plenty of shopping and great restaurants. We will be back.

Wifi was the only subpar experience we had with this hotel.

Fantastic location, amazing areas to walk to close by and some very good restaurants around as well. Staff was super helpful - the concierge made very very good recommendations and helped us make reservations to all the places.

The rooms and toilets could be better. Felt a bit dated and the shower despite fixing once didn't run properly.

Swimming pool were in 11th floor but gym & jacuzzi were basement floor didn’t make sense for guests in sportswear & robes using main elevators Restaurant grill for evening meals were closed on Sunday & Mondays so had to eat out

Spacious room, comfortable super king size bed, marble spacious bathroom, quiet air conditioning. wonderful welcome every time I entered or left hotel by porters Amazing concierge services and quality of bookings: restaurant, group city tour, private transfer by executive car and Rojo Tango show, tango lessons, shop to buy tango shoes.

Good service, large rooms, great location in recoleta, nice ammenities and rooftop bar.

Beds were not comfortable, water pressure very strong in shower, a bit dated hallways/common areas, so-so breakfast buffet.
