On arrival, my ground floor room request had been forgotten. Reception shuffled things & moved me to a ground floor room. My 2 knee replacements were very grateful. The room was small, just fitting an extremely comfy king-sized bed (with crisp white, clean cotten sheets & pillowslips) & a surprisingly comfy kitchen-style wooden chair. No couch, no armchair. There was no storage - no cupboard, luggage rack, drawers or shelves apart from a small corner shelf with a full-sized kettle, tea & coffee. No wall pictures. The tv worked & the a-c was new, quiet & effective. The large window was triple-glazed with a vacuum seal & completely blocked all traffic noise from the main highway 150m away. The window opened, had a flyscreen & effective thick curtains, & looked onto a shady green area. Bathroom - brand new basin & toilet, sparkling clean (tile grout could do with a clean). No storage, but a shelf for toiletries, mirror & towel-rail - all I needed. For $88, I didn't expect bells & whistles. I got a great, quiet night's sleep in a comfy bed in a clean room with a sparkling clean bathroom. Full marks to the cleaners & reception staff. The Ibis Dubbo punches well above its weight. Well done.
A small fridge would have been good, but this would have probably meant a higher room cost.

We had a family emergency and had to make a mad dash to Dubbo. This was cheapest available for 3 adults and 3 kids. Booking was easy. Sam, at reception was absolutely fantastic. Very welcoming and friendly, gave me assistance when I needed. There is a small pool here which would be good if you come here when it's hot. The rooms are small but have basics. Lots of parking, close to city centre. We got Pizza Cravings which is just over the way and was the most amazing pizza I had (tex mex is the bomb!!)and they have o.m.g. donuts. Bottle-o not far either Maccas, short drive up the road. There is food vending machines in hallway. They serve continental breakfast from 7 to 10am that also has pancakes.
Not having a fridge in the room, but they have a fridge for you, if you need to store anything. The shower head wasn't great. The floor was clean but its dated in the sense that no amount of vacuuming is going to clean it. You can hear sounds from other rooms, but i can't complain cos my kids were loud!

Good place to stay if you need an overnight stop. Many negative reviews but I found it quite good. Clean, easy to find, near decent food places (the venue has dispensers) and friendly staff. As opposed to other reviews, my room was quiet - was a Monday night. It's a budget hotel and you get what you pay for, which is a basic, clean room and a comfortable bed. Heaps of free on site parking. Would definitely stay there again.
Rooms were quite small and nowhere to hang clothes. Had the essentials for an overnight stop.

I liked that the staff were amazing and very friendly. I'm super stoked it had a fridge in the room, secure parking, multiple vending machines, complimentary milk, coffee, tea & sugar. A microwave downstairs and a coin laundry to wash your clothes! Guests we bumped in to were friendly too
Mouldy shower curtains and yellow stained blanket. The blanket didn't stink, but would be nice for doona covers to be used on them. The bathroom could use a little steam clean. Overall great value for the price. I've stayed at way worse for more money. 9/10

I have stayed at Ibis before. I was expecting a refrigerator in the room as during my last stay I had this. I would probably not stay there in the future because of this. When travelling I take provisions to avoid the need to purchase take away food. The staff are wonderful, though they do knock VERY loudly if they need to access. Everything was 10/10 except for the lack of refrigerator.
Everything was very good except for the lack of a refrigerator. The staff are very nice!

I was well informed about late check-in process. The instructions were very clear. It was seamless to check-in without intervention of calling after hours service. The location is also pretty good. Everything is perfect within that budget I have spent.
I don't think i found any issue because everything looked alright. Only small thing was, toilet seat was very close to the wall, it was inconvenient to sit on the toilet seat. Otherwise everything was pretty good. Also, if you could arrange the creamer (Milk powder) or milk sachets for coffee, it would be good.

Staff great 👍🏻 room oldish but clean.lovely clean linen. Great sized bathroom again clean. Parking. Good. Pool looked good 👍🏻 but too cold for us. Dispense machines for chips and drinks. Plenty tea coffee in room. Lots of eating in places right at the door from donuts pizza maccas. The club. Zoo for those going great location. Probably one of the busiest locations in Dubbo but the double glazing did the trick. Comfy mattress but 1 pillow was a bit uncomfortable.
Sorry but the $10.00 breakfast was a worry. No GF bread or cereals. And spreads like margarine peanut butter, jam. Vege mite not in individual serves, but dig in the jars. Not a pretty sight I chose honey it was I a shop squeeze bottle. Hubby. Mr Gf had yoghurt from tub with an apple that he chopped up. He could have had the bruised pear 🍐 as an option. The dirty dishes pi lled up in the sink, did get cleared by a staff member and put in the dishwasher. But the leaning tower of plates dishes and cups, told me none of these people had been on a family camp. Don't spoil your experience of your stay and opt out of breakfast and go off site.

the staff are always helpful. the position of the Ibis is fantastic close to NRMA caravan park where the rest of family stay. the rates are good , the breakfast is included in the price to the motel room. the motel is nothing fancy but clean and tidy it suits us. The staff are always nice and friendly and will do anything for you to make your stay nice. thanks again

Staff were helpful,
It is the second time I have been there. First time I told them about upkeep like needed repairs. Nothing has been done after 6 month or more! It also seems this same problem is in most rooms. There are casters on all 4 legs of the beds, so the bed moves away from the wall while you lay in bed. There are wedges tgey will provide if you ask them otherwise the only solution is to ask for some extra towels to lay on the floor under each caster. Very unprofessional!

We loved the location, due to being on a major arterial road and with a great hotel just around the corner. The walkway along the riverbank was very close by and a beautiful walk. The price was very reasonable, and the bed very comfortable. Linen and towels were great quality and fresh.
Stairs and hallways appear to be a bit messy and infrequently vacuumed, but our room and bathroom were clean..
