Our room had both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The room was clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were plush and supportive to the neck. I appreciated the little things, like the touch-lamps, which ment i wasn't scrambling around trying to find the lampswitch, you just tapped the base and the light went off. The local Coles was 1 block away- an easy walk. Housekeeping came by in the morning and emptied the bins and offered us clean towels. Our room had a hairdryer, ironing board, iron, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. There was no sink in the kitchenette, so water was taken from the bathroom sink. Dishes were rinsed in the bathroom sink and left for housekeeping to properly clean (which was done promptly).

The light in the bathroom was a little confusing to figure out, and the sensor would turn the light out at inopportune moments. The small fridge took on the smell of the milkshake i placed inside. The freezer shelf of the fridge was not cold enough to freeze.

Room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. There was crockery and cutlery as well as a kettle, toaster and microwave in the kitchenette. The hotel is walking distance to Coles and shops, and centrally located in town. Really good value for money and I would certainly stay here again if I need to.

Its priced well with tidy rooms, free wifi, super convenient location with a servo, coles and a pub within a block. The staff are friendly! Its my go to stay for TAFE every 3 months. Haven't had a bad stay yet.

I would install proper lighting in the bathroom as the sensor light goes off quickly in the middle of the shower. You have to get out of the shower to wave the sensor light back on.

Handy location - close to hunter valley vineyards without the price tag, close to Newcastle n the Lakes.

The pool exposed to carport (easy fix with potted shrubs) and didn't look clean. We ended up going to the local pool which we didnt expect to be available in the area, huge n very quiet, perfect.

Location and quietness of the place.

One of our bedside lights wasn’t working. We reported it but when we got back to our room, the staff had removed but not replaced the globe on the other bedside light leaving us with no bedside lights at all. We’ve stayed here before. The attention to detail is what let’s the place down. The pool area, though outside the swimming season, should have looked better, the garden ornaments saw better days ten years or so ago and the cigarette ends in pot plants outside our room door were a particular eyesore!

No stress, tell caretaker that neither of the USB ports on the power outlets either side of the bed work. Also one of the two mugs was cracked when I made coffee, it leaked all over the bench and I had to clean it up. Left a note in that mug hopefully it will be removed.

Quiet room, comfy bed, big TV, no excess light filtering in at night. I was in room 7. Facilities and amenities as you would expect. Good choice.

Would have preferred a larger bar of soap in bathroom, but is as expected in a regional motel. Bring your own if you want bigger.

The property is well maintained and the pool was an added bonus! Close to town centre and the staff were friendly. The check in process was super easy and fuss free.

I would have loved an extra couple of pillows on the bed but the room was clean and tidy.

I've stayed here a couple of times as it is conveniently located and quite a pleasant place to stay. Recommend and will likely stay again if passing through.

The room had shutters, which didn't fully close, and no curtains, so the outside light shone in.

Easy to get to and from Maitland Railway Station on the 164 Cessnock Bus. Supermarket and shops within easy walking distance. For those with a car, petrol station opposite and easy parking outside unit.

There is nothing that I disliked.
