We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room, very happy with and in fact we both rated this the best motel we had stayed in during our trip, we had stayed in 4 others prior to yours. Yes, the cost seemed high but when comparing with some other locations the comfort/ cleanliness was more important. We loved the honesty about the potential mouse issue etc and the welcoming was so friendly and inviting. The below will not be complaints but Improvement opportunities.

As stated above, an improvement opportunity - One light in our room, the main one, kept on going on and off, a potential connection issue? The first light entering the room needs to be cleaned of insects to give better lighting.

The managers have only been there a week and from what I have seen they have and are making a lot of good changes the the place, give some time and money that place can become the the best in the town… love the the RSL for dinner as well.. keep up the good job guys… and loved the beds whisk I could take it home.

Some of the light's didn’t work in the room, that’s the only thing, bout other then that loved it…

Friendliness of staff, size of room (including dining table and bench seats), free secured Wi-Fi, toiletries.

Nothing. It’s an older property but new managers are working on doing up all rooms, and while comfortably satisfactory will be much improved in the coming months.

Under new management Welcoming reception ,very friendly helpful & informative staff. Clean room. Crisp clean linen with hand ironed pillowcases ! Nice garden & pool area Good location, within walking distance of shops, museum & club

A bit dated (but very clean)

The new owners are doing a great job of cleaning up rooms and modernizing. It is an easy walk to restaurants and stores. The shower was hot, the bed comfortable, the air conditioner worked, and the managers very helpful.

Not a thing.

Under new management - the new owners are lovely and will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable as they plan further upgrades. Our room was large and clean. Our bed was very comfortable, coffee mugs and good sized breakfast bowls, so important when you’re travelling.

We just stayed overnight on the way to Broken Hill. Very nice staff and really helpful with fitting 2 cars in. Nice to see tea coffee milk AND biscuits all plentiful in the room, didn't have to ask for anything extra,

The shower was a little strange, no door or curtain and water went everywhere. There were some old fittings in the room - lights and radio for example - that were no longer functional - could get rid of them.

Spacious, Comfortable bed, functional kitchen, love the little dining nook! Bathroom recently renovated. The staff (Tracey!) were very helpful and bright. The pool was very much appreciated after our long and hot drive.

Nice easy check in. I was greeted at the reception by a very friendly smiling lady. We had a chat about the town & places to eat. When I received my room key, she then offered me a complementary soft drink or bottled water. I thought that was a very nice after a long drive.

Mmmmm… nothing to mention.

Tracey was such a friendly person, and would help with anything you need. The rooms were very quiet and clean and had all the amenities, we were there on a long weekend so the microwave was great as was the the IGA :)
