Very big kitchen and friendly staff. They clean the hostel/toilets/kitchen several times per day. Not lots of toilets/showers but never had to wait for long. Lockers, drawers and fridge inside the room. If you need to print a few pages, they print for free.

WiFi at night is very precarious. They have some people actually living there so they make more noise than usual (most of days until 1-3am) but I think it depends of the room you get. The mattress is a little bit hard. And there's some cockroaches, but not so bad.

The friendly staff is exceptional, so welcoming and accommodating. The location is unbeatable do is the value foe the money.

This is a classy place for backpackers and the staff is doing its utmost to keep the kitchen clean and tidy however, with the amount of traffic that comes through, it is impossible to expect spotless. It is expected that everyone cleans after themselves and contributes to keeping the kitchen and dining area clean however, this is not always the case.

Its an original old town house although converted. In a super local for easy travel around the city. Whether on foot, bus or train. We loved the atmosphere and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms and very well equipped kitchen. Free breakfast- cereal, muesli and toast. Excellent for the price you pay.. Three free evening meals provided and different entertainment a few nights a week..

loved the atmosphere everyone was very friendly and courteous in the rooms. I was not expecting free dinner aswell and they were amazing Everything was clean and the bathrooms never smelled bad. There was so much information about what to do in Sydney I also loved how there was always people to talk to no matter how late

I would have preferred there stricter rules about where you could smoke. the top bunks had no privacy while the lower bunks did.

Quiet area away from the bars at night. Very close to Kings Cross station which is great and easy to walk around. Room was a good size and came with everything you need, fridge, safe, cups, plates etc. Was pretty quiet inside at night, had a private room which was good.

At night the outside of the building is very busy everyone standing around smoking and drinking, I guess because cannot sit inside at night. Was a bit annoying to walk through in order to get inside the building.

As far as backpackers go this place has everything you need. Stayed in a private room with my travelling partner for a quick work related trip and the staff and everyone else were really helpful.

Not much to complain about. This isn’t a hotel and you get what you expect from a backpackers set up. If I was travelling from another country I’d be hyped on the set up. We knew what to except and the place felt comforting and more reliable than other backpackers I’ve stayed in in the past.

Nice location, easy to travel the city without being too central. Free dinners 3 times a week are genuinely great and help you save on groceries! Nice common areas and loads of activities on, room spacious with a nice balcony.

Only fault is how hot the rooms can get, no air con or ceiling fan just a standing one. Can be hard on muggy nights!

Oftentimes no sockets next to the bed They mentioned there’s a gym but there is no gym hahah

I liked that people working there were helpful and even when our room wasn't waiting for us they offered us a luggage store and tea or coffee for free. And after a short time our room was ready. It was also very helpful that the place is near the public transport - we loved it!

In the evening it was loud there, because our room was near the common area and dining room. But it wasn't too bad and I fell asleep quickly.

Private room is a good size and everything you need. Lots of pillows on the bed which is great. Excellent location for walking to places and close to the train/bus stations.

Can be noisy during the day and evening. People sitting outside the rooms chatting until late at night.
