We did the 6 hour road trip for our children's three day sporting tournament and had booked and stayed here (our first time). Check in was smooth sailing, the staff were lovely. The room was amazing!! We walked in and the air con had been on, so it was so nice walking into a nice warm room. The beds were so comfortable!! Everytime we had left and come back, the cleaner had been and had made our beds and cleaned up after us which was so lovely! Thank you! And sorry for being messy! 😉 The hotel was close to shops, sporting facility and pub which was handy. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and we will definitely be coming back! 😊

The bed was comfortable . I liked the variety of pillows to choose from . The room was clean . I ordered room service for dinner that night and it was absolutely delicious . The nightly rate was actually not worth the money I paid . I found the price to be excessive compared to a previous stay

I didn’t like that the TV was so small and I had trouble getting channels to work consistently. The room was clean however had a musty scent to it when I walked inside . Found the outside area at the front door to be a little dirty like it needed to be swept .

The staff was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Anything we asked was taken care of immediately. The buffet breakfast was very good the selection was awesome

The only thing we could say is that the Evening meal selection was was not very varied. And there could have been more choice. We had the fish and chips and there was a lot of salt on the chips, but that is more a personal preference

Location. Comfortable.

The bathroom was so out of date. You can tell how old the property is by looking at this bathroom. The toilet is yellow & still has the original 1970’s/1980’s porcelain cistern. Mould growing in the grout in the shower. Tiles cracked & broken throughout the bathroom. This property would definitely benefit by renovating the bathrooms on the lower floor, at the minimum.

Great room, clean, comfortable bed, very happy it had a decent mini fridge and not a bar fridge. Good amount of space. View out the back of the room was lovely.

It smelt a bit musty & I just really wanted to open a window, obviously not possible. The shower head was not great, it was too hard & the spray kind of hurt. Really would have been great to have a microwave as well, although I knew it didn't have one from reading other reviews when I booked, still wished there was one though.

Considering everything overall this is a nice place to stay. Although not the cheapest you do get what you pay for.

My one biggest annoyance was that both keycards for my room (119) did NOT WORK at one point. Staff stated that this may have been due to the mechanism on the door overheating as it was in full sun. So with takeout dinner getting cold and drinks getting warm I had to place a bag of ice on the door to cool it down (!?!?!?). After some time this worked as did the card and we gained entry. This was certainly NOT what I was expecting to have to do!!! One of the staff suggested the "ice trick" so this is a known problem that SHOULD BE FIXED!

Location was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.( they heated up our night meal and provided eating utensils). Beds were very comfortable. Checking in and out was very straight forward.

One of the power points didn't work. The shower was very fickle, going from dangerously hot to freezing cold for no apparent reason. One of the television channels on free to air provided sound but no vision which was frustrating for football followers.

The room was spacious and was more like a suite. The view over the garden was calming.

Nothing was in walking distance, Tamworth is oddly laid out. The men drinking in the parking lot didn’t add to the appeal of the town.

Room was great, beds were comfortable. The air con was on to warm up the room which is appreciated.

Receptionist was not friendly. Snobby. Did not want to accept cash to pay for the room. $35 each for breakfast is outrageous. No wonder no one was eating there. I am an accor member and was not able to have any discounts. Only new sign ups.

Bfast was great, fresh and lots of hot and continental options. The only downfall, during our stay was there was no barista. Other than that, a great group deal $15 per adult, and a child eats free. Perfect for a sports venue to stay. Family room was a decent size and bathroom was in good order with modern facilities.

I think there could be more outdoor seating around the pool area. Perhaps a common room for families or children to hangout in.
