Everything. What’s not to like in a 3 bedroom, two bathroom apartment with spacious kitchen and living room directly looking out over the ocean, through glass bi-fold doors. Magnificent.

There was a power failure early on the Saturday morning, which put the elevator out of action. Going up and down the fire escape from the 4th floor all weekend was unpleasant for my partner who is having knee surgery soon. Even worse when the lift wasn’t repaired when we checked out with our bags etc. But this was a once of event, which wouldn’t be the norm.

Loved the location! We were right at the beach and the playground which was great for the kids!! We also did plently of bike rides which were great with the pathways around! The staff were very friendly and all round amazing! The apartment size was great and great for long stays with everything that you would need!

The washing machine and dryer may need to be cleaned out as the previous guests must have put their sandy clothes through them as the dryer filter was full and the edging was very sandy.

This is such a lovely place to stay. I have stayed here with my kids a couple of times and whenever we are heading up that way they always request we stay here. The managers go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Not all rooms have a spa so if you are wanting one its best to book in advance and do a special request asking if any rooms are available with a spa. I highly recommend staying here, its close to everything and has secure parking as an extra bonus.

Great location, clean and good facilities.

There was a planned power outage that the management failed to tell anyone about until it happened. We were given no notice to make alternative plans or even get ice for eskies. I understand these things happen but if the management clearly knew about it (when we went to ask about it, they had printed off flyers and stuck them on each floor on the lift doors) they should have told guests .

Location to Beach , cafes and shops were a 5min walk away along the esplanade. Right opposite Golf Club, perfect location for golfers as the tee is right there. Put the car away and relax. Lovely clean pool, spa, gym, shower and bbq area. Half court tennis was fun with balls and rackets supplied, no serious tennis on this court though!! Management went over and above to meet our every need. Came for baby turtles night encounter as short drive to Mon Repos. Scored a 10 out 10 there with a clutch emerging as we arrived!!

A great location. We had a three bedroom apartment that had so much space. The welcome pack of necessities was very generous and really helped with our stay. The managers were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back and will recommend to our friends.

The bedrooms weren’t air conditioned. However we were on a high floor with a great breeze and it wasn’t an issue. But could be if you struck bad weather.

Very spacious comfortable unit on the 4th floor, although only partial views from the spacious balcony it was still pretty good. It was a short distance to town for cafes ect. It was opposite the golf club for meals and golf and also close to a sandy beach. The heated pool was fabulous. Some places say the pool is heated and they are only Luke warm at best this was lovely. Underground parking was great.

Lack of basics like salt and pepper and oil. We’ve been spoilt at quite a few places having these basics and more and it’s such a nice welcoming touch. There was a tiny room with a sign indicating gym, it housed an old stationary bike and a rowing machine, honestly forget about calling it a gym I can’t imagine anyone exercising in there.

The location was great as the ocean was across the road from our accommodation. Our unit had a partial view of the ocean which was still good. The car parks were undercover & very secure. We were able to walk into the town to the cafes etc and the golf club was across the road. My husband & son played a round of golf and they said the course was very well maintained & it was the best they have played on. Also the golf club has fabulous meals. There are walking paths along the beach front which are great as they go a long way.

The floor of our unit was a little gritty when we arrived but as there was a broom & dust pan available I swept the floor. Other than that all was good.

Comfortable beds and furnishings. A good location within walking distance to shops, pub, park. good view of the ocean even though we had other unit blocks between us and the water, they actually blocked the hot morning sun which was good. Would stay there again if heading up that way. Pool was quite good too.

Complex is a little outdated but still very comfortable. It was a very hot weekend so didn’t really sit out on the balcony as it was too hot.

Bargara Blue is a well maintained property and our apartment was bright, light, very clean and tastefully appointed. The lounge furniture and beds were very comfortable and everything you need is provided. We particularly liked the location so near the beach yet with places to eat, cafes, take away, bakery and few shops very close by. The apartment was ideal for two couples travelling together and would be perfect for a family. We wish our stay had been longer and would choose to return if in the area in future.

We were very happy with everything.
