The room was clean and tidy with comfy beds. The aspect of the room's balcony was fantastic and we really did enjoy our stay and being able to house our family of 5 in the one room.

We visited in winter and it was cold at night, there was only sheets on the bed and there wasn't enough blankets in all the rooms to keep us all warm when sleeping. Our stay was over the weekend and when we went to visit reception to request additional blankets, it wasn't staffed; there was a small window they were open and it was whilst we were out and about visiting the sites in the area, so we missed the opportunity to ask for more blankets. Some aspects of the apartment/room were tired and needed replacing, water damaged (?) timber frames around doors/windows and the melamine in the kitchen.

We were upgraded from the room we originally booked on level 2. We stayed on level 5. The view was fantastic, right across from the beach. It was a short walk to the cafes and restaurants in Bargara. The king size bed was very comfortable. The room was airconditioned and also had good ventilation from a window. The water is really soft compared to where I live. You don't need as much soap or shampoo to wash. It is also really nice to drink.

A previous guest 'may' have 'forgotten' to wash a couple of bowls (even though there was a dishwasher), that were put back in the cupboard in the middle of a stack. It left a bit of a smell. We reported it to management and they dealt with it straight away. It makes sense to check everything when you get to your apartment. The ensuite had a shower curtain. This really didn't stop water getting on the floor of the bathroom. A glass screen would be better. You have to direct the shower head towards the wall if you don't want a puddle of water in the bathroom.

The resort was very nice well kept, rooms spacious, balcony beautiful view. Staff helpful and friendly. Under cover parking, pool and spa clean and nice. Great bathrooms. Overall a great place to stay within walking distance of shops and eatery's. Great tracks for walking, right on the beach.

The only thing that wasn't up to standard was the beds, very hard they need reviewing, not comfortable at all. Bought a mattress topper but didn't really do anything. Pillows good and plentiful. Air Conditioner good in lounge and main bedroom, but really need air conditioners in other 2 bedrooms when you shut door no air conditioning only ceiling fans that don't really cool.

We were originally on the ground floor facing the beach and had requested a higher floor if there was a cancelation. When we got there, they advised us that they had moved us up a floor. We really appreciated that. We had a good visit except for the rain which was constant. We would definitely stay at The Point Resort again it's in a great location and an easy walk to the shops at Bargara. The facilities were good even though we didn't get to do much, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we went for walks & just had a leisure break. Next time we hope the sun will be shining.

Self contained unit. Plenty of kitchen equipment. (1 mug & plate chipped)

Unit 210 Ventilation to unit, musty. No cross ventilation at night. Had to buy glen20 to mask mustiness. Needs screen door to balcony. No exhaust fan in bathroom . Carpet is tired. Unsafe concealment of wiring to TV across room at balcony doorway. Hairdryer outlet needed cleaning. All documented& handed to reception. Obviously cleaners aren’t reporting areas needing detail or checking for wear of crockery.

Great location, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, large balcony overlooking the water and good bathrooms with lots of hot water and good pressure.

Our bedroom backed onto the atrium area which leads to the lifts. It seemed to magnify noises such as footsteps, doors opening and talking waking us up at night as people came in late. The noise seemed to echo and bounce off the buildings in the complex. Next time I would ask for an apartment with a bedroom at the front.

Well equipped room with great facilities in a great location

Overall it was great but if I was picky - The beds were very flat and hard, could definitely do with new mattresses. The unit was great but was showing signs of its age - a little update would work wonders - the ppts and airconditioners would benefit from even a lick of paint to refresh as they stood out as an old yellowed cream colour. A coffee machine (nespresso) would also be great for this level of apartment to give the extra touch.

Nice open plan layout. Nice large bathroom and shower space. Good size balcony to relax. Lots of storage space. Very quite, you cannot hear other guests which is great.

Bed was a little too hard for our liking. Just personal preference I guess. TV a bit small as it was located on the far side of the room opposite the lounge. And like all TVs the speakers are hopeless. Also could have been a bit more equipped with cooking utensils, mixing bowls etc.

Was close to town, easy access to all. Nice beach front location. Our little froggy family in the main entrance were super cute. Reception staff were very friendly and professional.

We booked the sunset room. Was a bit disappointed because when you think this, you think balcony showcasing sunset. We just had a big plant and view of putt putt. Shower could do with a new head on it. Was blocked up not alot of pressure. Carpet all pulled away on edges. One guy , don't know if he worked there. A bit rude when talking to us. We couldn't smoke on our balcony but saw several others doing it. I won't give it too much slack as it was worth the costings. Just some things were sad.

The 2 bedroom ocean front was lovely, we all really enjoyed it.

The thing both of us couples didn't enjoy. were the beds. The beds were terrible actually, they were so hard, and our bed had an egg foam topper which did absolutely nothing. If you can't afford to replace the beds, buy a latex topper from Spotlight, they are cheap enough and work wonders, we have one.
