Good food and most staff helpful.

One bar staff member was poorly trained and didn't even know how to make a simply shandy, and also mucked up our meal order.

The pool/beach was amazing for the kids aswell as the adults. The breakfast was fantastic - we had a mix of the menu and then buffet on the weekend - both were amazing. The housekeeping staff were thorough and friendly and of course, the staff behind the bar aswell.

One of the complaints I would have would be that there were so many parties on the Saturday that sharing the pool was chaotic and there were irresponsible parents leaving their glass on the beach part of the pool. My kids unburied plastic cups multiple times. The dinner and lunch menu could probably do with a refresher too. However what we did eat was good. Just feel like more variety was needed.

We booked here last minute on the afternoon of 12/11/23 due to a flight cancellation. And although we arrived flustered and stressed your wonderful staff member on reception (I’m sorry I can’t recall his name hence why I have included the time and date), was so welcoming and helpful. He made sure we were allocate a room that was suitable for 4 adults, helped us out with parking our rental and was great with information about the hotel and surrounds. Thank goodness he had mentioned happy hour as we needed it after the stress of rebooking flights etc. We loved the cocktails at the pool bar whilst we had a swim and the meals and drinks at the restaurant were great. The location is perfect and close to the aquarium and Cairns esplanade. The buffet breakfast was excellent and everyone was well catered for.

In the afternoon there was a little bit of mess and spilt cocktails near the pool. But it was nothing major. The only other issue was not having enough towels in the bathroom for 4 adults but our call was quickly answered and the extra towels arrived quickly.

The resort is family orientated. It is a safe environment for children. Pool is there, parents can relax and supervise children in a safe and fun environment.

A couple of staff (one male, one female) on Wednesday night, at the bar were not very helpful or approachable. The customer service was not good at all. Was not greeted with a smile by these two particular staff every time I was served. Felt rushed when trying to order food or drink. The new trainee working with them was great and gave better customer service than the particular two. We Pay an arm and a leg to stay a few nights on holiday and it is close to being ruined by two crappy staff.

Everything was ready nice, my son loved the breakfast, my husband loved the pool view, my daughter loved the comfortable bed, I loved the fresh towels when you wanted them and it was so close to everything. We enjoyed so many beautiful meals at the restaurants close by, the hotels steak night was also perfect.

I ordered 2 whiskies on ice after doing white water rafting on the Barron river and was told by the hotel bartender that they could only do a couples of rounds like that because of hotel policy. I replied I would only be having this one being an older lady but I would recommend maybe saving that advice for someone who is ordering multiple drinks. He was a little preoccupied with his speech that he added to much ice.

The laundry room was spotless. Very nice area to do laundry! The meals we purchased were delicious and of good value. We requested ice multiple times from the bar and they were quite generous to fill our water bottles.

Our room was clean; we were informed that our room had not been recently remodeled so it was as expected. We would recommend that the large rug in the entry by the sofas be cleaned or replaced. It is an eyesore because of the numerous stains and it is a first impression of the hotel.

Brilliant Resort. Staff are friendly, helpful and the facilities are great. The restaurant downstairs has fabulous food, and as a vegan/vegetarian family, SO many options for us to eat which is incredibly rare. Swim up bar at the pool and the Beach Club space had great cocktails and a cool vibe. Easy walking distance to everything in Cairns City and we found it easy to get transfers from the resort to other activities further out of Cairns.

The sound proofing is not great for the rooms. We were woken up daily by the hall noise and surrounding rooms’ bathroom noise.

The staff were so awesome and helpful, the beds were so comfortable, the location was on point so close to city and walking distance to our activities that were booked 👍❤️ enjoyed the pool area very nice and relaxing but you have to be fast for the sun lounges

The only thing that was disappointing was the limited selection of wine and bubbles on offer behind the bar, didn't enjoy any they had but that's just our taste.

The hotel is lovely and the pool area is very nice. You feel very relaxed there. Location is fantastic if you don't have a car. A great place to relax.

Some of the staff were very rude and not helpful, but then others were super nice. The food in the restaurant was horrible. Breakfast was nice.

The resort is so beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay

The rooms were very small. The bathrooms could use some extra cleaning, they were mouldy around the ceiling and had little ventilation. There was also nowhere to hang wet clothes so they could dry.
