Location. Close to the beach. High floor. This meant the only noise I heard for 99% of the day and night was the ocean. I was there to study and finally do an on-line exam late at night (out of Europe). Strange circumstances, but this apartment met my needs. A bit of a panic when I checked in that the Wi Fi was down but that was the Optus disaster that affected the whole country - so no reflection on the accommodation.

Faulty light in the living room was annoying. I meant to report it to management (but the only time it was relevant was at night). Bathroom was small but functional.

A very convenient location for myself and my family. Super comfortable unit with all the requirements for our stay. The Ocean was spectacular and relaxing to see every morning. Close to all the local restaurants and shopping complexes. Particularly for teenage kids---Hassle free check in/ check out. Friendly and helpful staff. I will be back to stay again soon.

For what you pay for -we couldn't complain too much. We did have some left over clothing from a previous group left in the bedroom cupboards--other than that, no too much. Dryer flint wasn't cleaned out & still full. However, the unit was clean and hospitable.

Absolutely loved our stay, great location only 10 minute walk to all the delicious eateries and less than a minute to the beach! The view from our room had beach views, it was so relaxing waking up to that. The room was clean, everything was in good working order and the kitchen was fully equipped. The indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic we swam everyday. Would highly recommend staying here, we would definitely stay again.

The location is outstanding, the view from my balcony was gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean.

Privacy on the balcony if other people were on theirs, no barrier etc but not a huge deal. No air con in the bedroom but the one in the lounge will cool the entire apartment. Guest below me were loud, smoking pot and drinking quite late into the night. I had to close my balcony doors for the smoke smell and noise.

Loved our stay the beach view is the best

The outside space outside the room is narrow and very outdated as is the furniture it didn’t take away from our stay as the view and beach sounds are incredible but they could use an update. Also I think everyone needs a smart tv these days and as it rained a couple of days we were there this would have made it a better stay

Location was amazing, Ocean view was fantastic. Indoor heated pool and spa was great. Location was great, easy walk to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach shops.

Probably no fault of Ocean Royal but one of the unit owners decided to do some renovations during the last two days of our stay, so those days were filled with jackhammering most of the time. We had to go out to avoid the noise.

Location, facilities

When I arrived at 1.30pm, because I didn’t arrange an early check in, I was told to wait outside until 2.30pm. A lovely family having a barbecue invited me in to sit. Otherwise I would have been sitting outside in the carpark. Surely a little compromise is possible, the room was ready. I asked for a late check out and prepared to pay, abruptly told ‘no’. It is the little things that make the difference .

Fabulous property - furnishings and location were brilliant Loved every minute of our stay there and would highly recommend to anyone Communal areas clean and tidy The apartment was airy and the large patio doors allowed the air to circulate and the sound of the ocean to be heard - fantastic !

Fantastic location with everything we needed for our 8 night stay. Comfortable beds, plenty of room and lovely view over the ocean from the lounge and kitchen… with bonus whales!

The wifi was a little hit and miss. Early morning construction noise from nearby buildings was a little annoying, but not too much of a problem.

This is our third time staying at Ocean Royale and the best thing we like about this place is the LOCATION!!! The ocean views from the apartment are simply unmatched. You could watch Sunrise and Sunset from the wrap around balconies. We we're there on a full moon day and the moonrise is absolutely amazing! On a cold day, you could just watch it from indoors and don't have to step outside. The next best thing is the indoor pool and spa! The last time we were here in May, it was pouring and cold. However the indoor pool meant we had enough to have a nice relaxing holiday 😊.

The cleanliness is just average. There was stuff and clothes in the bedroom cupboards in the apartment we stayed in. The vanity draws were also dusty and not clean. The kitchen was tidy and clean. However the placemats on the dining table had food crumbs all over and were filthy. The apartment was tidy overall (but not clean) and was presented well. The other thing which was a little disappointing was, the sauna was out of order and we were not told about it. We only figured out when we went in to use it. We would have appreciated if we were informed prior.
