We had an amazing weekend away while staying here. The cottage was cute and clean, with a classic rustic charm. The food and wine provided was lovely and we were given lots of recommendations by the hosts. The location was quiet and picturesque. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio, listening to the birds while the sun set. We were a few steps away from a intimate wine cellar and offered a free tasting while staying here, which was fantastic. A very short walk in the other direction was an amazing gin distillery with fantastic staff, service and cocktails.

Another beautiful stay at the Marananga Cottages. So clean, so quiet and little kitchenette always well equipped. So many options for brekky - very generous. Location is perfect - nestled between a small batch single vineyard cellar door and a distillery on a famous road in the middle of the Barossa. Days spent wine tasting, long lunching and farmers markets. Early evenings spent nibbling a cheese platter watching the birds play in the gum trees.

Very conveniently located next to a winery and only 200 m from a distillery. the accommodation itself was comfortable and clean, and Wendy provided an amazing range of breakfast ingredients - pancake mix, yoghurt, fruit, a fresh loaf of bread with spreads, and wine. Loved it - would return if we ever head back to the Barossa.

No issues. Even the local possum was friendly.

Loved this place. It has charm and character; it’s spacious but cosy, and all furnishings are of the highest quality. The breakfast supplies, small cheese platter and wine provided were generous and delicious. Although the property is rural, there are a few cellar doors within a couple of minutes’ walk, as well as a gin distillery and the bars and restaurants at The Louise. The host was excellent. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the Barossa.

The bed was slightly too firm for me, but I am more sensitive than most. It was fine for my husband.

Great location. Very clean and tidy. Everything provided including a welcome bottle of wine, great selection of locally made breakfast ingredients including muesli, fruit, beautiful bread, etc and a cheese and olive board. Plenty of towels, toiletries etc . These extra touches make it extra special.

Bathroom was very cold and heater not crash hot.

A very comfortable property, beautifully decorated and very well maintained, an excellent location close to wineries and set amongst the trees. A great place to relax and take in the countryside. The yummy treats waiting for us when we arrived were a delight.

All was excellent, although the possums partied into the night.

The location is perfect for exploring the Seppeltsfield and wider Barossa area. Wendy was a responsive, warm and friendly host and the cheese platter and G&T were a welcome surprise on arrival. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and well-equipped including two lovely small outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, toasted sandwich maker all spotlessly clean and kitchen otherwise well-equipped for easy, light meals.

The presentation and hospitality were exceptional - the welcome treats, the breakfast which happily catered to dietary requirements, all very good! Was a great little hideaway in the perfect spot!

The only downside was the bed wasn't super comfortable, but it seems like a minor thing compared to all the pros

Oscar's the cottage we were staying in for last couple of days was absolutely gorgeous. The interior of the place was great - neutral colours and spacious and bright space were just perfect for a relaxing stay! Very big bathroom with a bathtub and natural light. We loved special touches from the host - bottle of wine, nibbles and local cheese as well as breakfast for the following day. The cottage itself is charming and located in very beautiful and quiet area but close by all the attractions. There is a winery and gin destillery pretty much next door. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend for a couple's getawaway!

We arrived on a 40 degree day and we met by a beautifully cooled cottage that provided much needed respite! We instantly cracked the wine and got stuck into the cheese platter which was the perfect way to instantly unwind. The cottage is immaculate with such an attention to detail. Thoughtfully decorated, it was both charming and so comfortable.
