Lovely view and good room. Quiet beginning to our holidays

In the morning, I went down to our car before reception was open and had to return through the after hours guests door but although I had my key & tag the door flashed green but would not unlock. It was funny even if a little frustrating. After 10 minutes another guest came downstairs & let me in. As we checked out I advised the receptionist of the incidence (in good humour) so she immediately checked & attained instant access. I just wonder if on the inside there is a "deadlock lever" that someone in good faith thought they had to switch that prevented me accessing it. Perhaps disarmed as soon as the other guest opened the door for me. It would not have been so funny if it was in the middle of the night! Still a humouress incident in this case.

Location

We had unit 12 and they need to add a blind to the bathroom internal door as it lets the outside lights penetrate the opaque glass and the bedroom gets all the light at night. Not great Also need a mirror in the main room apart from bathroom as if someone is in the shower then the lady can still apply makeup and do hair in front of the mirror Also changed our breakfast options and front of staff cancelled the incorrect breakfast and my partner ended up with nutrigrain instead of weetbix for breakfast

When I booked the marina apartments, I didn’t realise it was the townhouse. It was such a beautiful home with plenty of space. The kids loved the games that were there. We weren’t there for long as we had a netball carnival but have definitely made a note to come for a few days again to explore more of wallaroo and stay here.

The only thing I didn’t like was the coffee pods. They tasted like dirty dish water. It may have been somewhere but a program to tell you more about wallarroo and what places there are to eat see and do etc. but again I may have missed it if there was a book

The apartment was perfect for our visit

The room faced the water but was also very close to the hotel situated next door. Saturday night it was very very noisy and language ( well into the night ) from patrons of the hotel making it difficult to get to sleep despite having the door to patio closed and the blinds also shut. In order for me to get to sleep I needed to use my headphones and listen to music. If I had been aware of this prior to booking I would not have stayed in the apartments or I would have requested a room further away. This experience on Saturday night spoilt our trip. Unlikely to stay at the Wallaroo apartments again. I also will be hesitant in using Booking .com as I will probably get more information from the accomodation if I was to book through them directly.

The location was on point! The view in the morning with sunrise was incredible. They have large windows and a balcony that looks out to the water. There is a bar/restaurant right below it.

The restaurant's kitchen below the apartment closes around 9pm or something and there aren't a lot of restaurants open if you are arriving late. It's a small town so not a lot of options. The only thing lacking in the apartment was cooking oil. We arrived late so wanted to cook eggs and noodles but didn't have oil.

ON THE WATER WAS NICE AND NEXT TO GREAT HOTEL FOR FOOD BUT NO BREAKY WAS QUIET AS WELL ON WEEK DAY

THE BED WAS WAY TOOO SMALL , WE NORM SLEEP IN KING BEDS , THIS WAS A DOUBLE TO US WAS NOT GOOD MUST BE AT LEAST QUEEN , SAID IF WE BOUGHT COOKED BREAKY WE HAD TO COOK IN OUR ROOM? OUR ROOM HAD ZERO COOKING ITEMS OR KITCHEN SO WE COULD NT HAVE BREAKY , HAD TO TAKE WEET BIX , WE ALWAYS HAVE BUFFETT BREAKY IF WE CAN , OR AT LAEST HOT COOKED BREAKY , HAD NO LATE NIGHT SNACK MEALS , HAD NO BEERS IN FRIDGE , RED LIGHT UP ABOVE THE BED???? SO BRIGHT TO SLEEP

Excellent communication from time of booking through to check out when leaving. Staff very friendly. Lovely room with great balcony. Kitchen included. Lovely big bathroom and fantastic shower head. Room cleaned and serviced every day by lovely staff. Bed comfortable. Able to dine on ground level or have takeaway from there. Have stayed a few times now and will return. Highly recommend a stay.

The Marina apartments are located in a very pleasant location at the entrance to the marina and close to the esplanade. The jetty is within walking distance. We were greeted cheerfully upon arrival for our one-night stay. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. We made use of the ale house next door for a well-provided dinner. There are also some excellent eateries in the town centre, although it is not within walking distance.

Good location and helpful staff members.

No complaints for the services provided to us. However, the facilities needs to be updated. The coffee pods machine and the blow dryer was broken in our room. And the toiletries were below the standard, e.g. no tooth brush, shower cap etc. the facilities are ok for a 3 star hotel, but this is lower than what we expected for a 4 star hotel.
