King size room. The location is great for access to riverside, coast walks and bike paths. E bikes available from reception on booking basis which meant being able to explore further whilst still getting good exercise and access to regional sightseeing and food (leaving the car parked at accommodation). The bed very comfortable and facilities clean with good quality personal items, soaps, linen, coffee pods. All staff were friendly and efficient informative and approachable.

A personal bugbear - small fridge stocked with wine and chocs that I boxed up and left in reception. I like to use fridge for my preferred food stuff. Reception had no problem with me doing so.

The Waterfront is situated in a great location. It is literally on the waterfront. We used the venue as a base for further sightseeing. Wynyard is close to an array of tourist destinations: Penguin, Burnie, Table Cape, Stanley (The Nut). The motel is clean and suffiently well-equipped. The onsite restaurant makes a great breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not much to dislike. Of really minor concern was the fact that the fridge did not have a freezer and, secondly, the washing machine and dryer needed coins to operate. These minor concerns had no real impact on our stay. I would recommend The Waterfront.

This is a pet friendly motel. The staff made us all welcome ,people, and our dogs. There were places for the dogs to be walked and a welcome snack for the dogs. The room had a great selection in the mini bar, and the prices were very reasonable. The rooms, coffee, and tea making also had Milo and hot chocolate, which is great when travelling with kids. The location was excellent with a very nice pub a few minutes walk that has really nice meals.i would recommend this place to anyone travelling with or without pets. A little checkout gift was so lovely.

Fabulous location overlooking the water & with lots of walking paths nearby. We had a very spacious & comfortable ensuite room - warm & well equipped for a short stay. Good size TV too. We loved it so much we’re staying an extra 2 nights. The guest lounge is available for breakfast & great coffee & muffins throughout the day. Plenty of books & magazines to read. Just a short walk into town for Woolies, cafes, hotels & restaurants! Great place to be based to explore the surrounding area.

What’s not to like?

Check in and out smooth and room clean. Only gripe is split system aircon is located above the wardrobe and as the top of the wardrobe has not been wiped it was blowing dust straight onto the main bed.

No dislikes with room but fish and chip place a few meters down the driveway was an absolute rip off. Over priced, long wait and left the coleslaw out of the package so had to go back and complain. $66 for 2 serves of fish and chips and another small chips and coleslaw?

I liked EVERYTHING. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Welcomed warmly and given helpful information regarding where to eat. The photos of the room don't really give it justice. Decor was lovely and TV was on with soothing aquarium screen saver with Zen music, just what I needed after a pretty sleepless night on board the Spirit of Tasmania with car alarms going off and terrible beds. Our room was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable, as I suffer Fibromyalgia I rarely rate beds 10/10, but I do in this case. They even have a pillow menu, I was very impressed. I have not felt as comfortable in a 5 star hotel as I did here. The view was lovely and peaceful. We had breakfast both mornings which was delicious and service cannot be faulted.

It's hardly worth mentioning, it's just a personal thing, I noticed the coffee supplied was Moccona which was great but as I am a tea drinker I always pack some nice Twinings tea bags as I dislike Bushells which is what was supplied and is commonly supplied. (Just a suggestion as everything else was outstanding maybe rethink the teabags)

We came to stay as a base to catch up with family and friends, was very convenient for us, and the amount of coffee shops was amazing 👍we had a group of 14 dine at the Bottom Pub.. excellent! Wynyard in general is looking tip top, well cared for town.

Nothing to complain about , just a tip …. Sit on the loo and look around…. Touch up the chipped paint and tile edges, make a huge difference. Would get rid of the louvred cupboard too .

Hospitable staff and excellent communication before we arrived. Room was small but very clean, comfortable and well equipped with cleaning supplies for the kitchenette. Bedding was very comfortable, we slept well without too much noise from guests leaving early considering the motel was full. Staff were very helpful allowing me to use their freezer for the esky ice blocks…(thanks ladies for your help) A cafe is located on the property. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend to others.

Really nicely renovated rooms. Beautiful location with dining options nearby. TV had plenty of streaming options in addition to free to air. Quiet complex and very friendly staff. Dog friendly rooms came with a dog treat and blanket for your fury friend to sleep on. Clean sheets and towels provided. Family friendly and has lots of hire options to explore the town.

Not much we didn't like at all, it was a lovely stay.
