Nice location, right across the racecourse! We’re at the second floor, didn’t have the full view of the racecourse but it’s already so nice. The kitchen is well prepared with everything needed. Ten minutes walk will give you a Coles near Showgrounds, or Woolworth on the other side with Asian grocery. Traffic is so convenient, we don’t have a car so the 57 tram right in front of the building saved plenty of time, heading straight to city. The train station is also at distance. Have to mention the rooftop swimming pool, it’s heated and the view is phenomenal. Would definitely recommend

We stayed for a week so only two cleaning services were included. The second time were never been done as they came while we’re having lunch. They agreed to come later in the afternoon but didn’t show up, not even the next day. Needed to call the front desk for more utilities. Could have a better arrangement for cleaning schedule while guests are still in the room.

Beautiful view and comfortable apartment. Well, furnished and clean. Coffee pods and milk provided was a nice in the morning.

Unfortunately the after hours check in experience was very disappointing. We received instructions via a text of the checkin procedure but this did not match the actual procedure. No staff was answering the call button and after I made a call to the number displayed at the front door I was refused entry until I submitted my credit card details to a person on the other side of the telephone. In todays day and age I am sure there is more secure ways of taking a holding deposit. I felt bullied and had no choice but to risk credit card fraud whilst being held ransom with a young family sitting on the street late at night. It traumatised us all and subsequently tarnished our experience with Quest.

Location was good, near a tram stop which took us to the Melbourne Royal show where we had a horse entered. Lots of room which was good. Bed was comfortable. Air con worked well. Good size bathroom and shower. Good wifi. Kitchen was good except I would have liked to know how to work the coffee machine! The staff were very accommodating when we had to leave early on the last morning but allowed us to leave our cars until later. Thanks very much.

Need instructions on how to work the coffee machine, near the machine. The car park. Very tight for our Toyota Landcruiser. When booking in please tell your staff that we cannot reverse park. We did try that and now have two dents in the back of our car.

The room was neat and tidy. All the settings were excellent, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need for making your own meals. The private laundry is another thing we are very pleased, as it would be very helpful for the guests staying for a couple of nights. Unlike in Japan, most of the hotel laundries are public, located on the other floors, and hence you have to remember the time when it finishes so as not to affect the others for using it. The location of our room's balcony was facing the racecourse, and the open view is very refreshing. In short, everything was good and very comfortable. Regarding the front desk staff, they were very nice and helpful. I asked the questions such as onsite parking, and late hours return to the apartment, he explained to us clearly and patiently with a warm smile. We will surely stay in this apartment again. BTW, transport is very convenient. The tram stop no. 29 is just around the corner.

What we didn't like was the shower head, which is a single rain shower with no hand-held shower head. The arrangement is same as the arrangement of the other apartment we stayed in City last month. I don't know why some interior designers used this design. I hope they should bear in mind that trendy is not necessarily good for every one. There should be choices for the guest to choose, just like tea of coffer. Right? By the way, I hope the hotel management would think about providing coffee capsules for each day of stay. That is we stayed for 3 nights, there should have been 6 coffee capsules.

The first room allocated was noisy and had a bad smell. I was disappointed as have stayed at this hotel before and loved it. However Nina responded to my request and allocated a new internal room which was excellent. My daughter was staying here from Canberra and her room was excellent too. The change of room and efficient and courteous service from staff made all the difference. I will be back again. Thank you so much.

See above - lower level room facing the road is very noisy ? I paid top prices and booked over six months ahead so was pleased to have a suitable room change.

Plenty of utilities, handy as I was down at this apartment for two weeks doing a course. Close to a tram stop which was very convenient, as I was using public transport for the duration of my stay. When room was cleaned , everything was cleaned/restocked as necessary. Staff were kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Had access to free wifi , and also tv streaming services such as Netflix, Stan, YouTube etc. Room was very clean. Shower was good!

No complaints, very happy with my stay!

Good size rooms nice decor good location - nice walks in Kensington along the old stick route, river and cafes etc 5 mins walk are very nice. Staff are very helpful.

I have stayed several times but here are my pet peeves which I finally wish to share- Not nearly enough plates and cutlery especially as you supply a dishwasher! Owners should try to arrange better pedestrian access for crossing a very busy road- get onto the council people! Not enough coffee pods! It’s pathetic to offer 2 and then ask me to purchase if I want any more- don’t bother offering it at all as it just looks measly ..

The room was nice, spacious and clean. The covered veranda with a city view was a bonus. The only thing we found "difficult" was the street noise, but it is not something that will stop us from returning. Also the entry to the car park was not clear and the box to drop off the key could not be found so we had to go around the block to drop off at reception.

The street noise was a slight problem but again not earth shattering that it will stop us from retuning. The instructions to get into the car park didn't seem to fit what we found. The drop off of the key was not able to carried out as per instructions because we couldn't find box to put the key in and had to go to reception. Perhaps some clear markings in the car park entry and on the walls.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Quest. We like the room provided and the bed is comfortable. will definitely go back again.

The cabinet door for the refrigerator cannot be open smoothly due to the position of the rug in the living room. We need to fold the carpet, however by doing so, I almost trip a few times. Management should reposition the rug to address the problem. Pillows are too hard for me and not enough hangers in the room.

Nice unit, spacious, comfortable bed, good bathroom and shower and plenty of storage space. Easy access. Great reception service. Newmarket train station 10 mins away, 404 bus at the door and 57 tram 100 m away. 1 block away from the entrance to Flemington race course. Woolworths supermarket just near train station. Cost was reasonable. We would stay here again.

The cupboard door over the fridge was not able to be fully opened as it hit the carpet square. It would have been good to have a 2nd towel rail in the bathroom and somewhere to hang the hand towel. There was dust/debris on the floor in the unit near the entry way - seemed like it might have been left by cleaner or fallen out of a rubbish bag etc. It wasn't a big deal - I just swept it up. Apart from a pizza place and a pub about 10 minutes away there were no restaurants/food take away places. There used to be one in the building but it had shut down. Not a big issue as the public transport was so good.
