Lancemore Milawa is a nice luxury resort set amongst neat vines and lawns. Our room was large, quiet and comfortable. The resort is across the road from the Brown Brothers vineyard and restaurant, and a short stroll to the Milawa pub.

Lancemore Milawa is a very expensive place to stay, and although somewhat luxurious it doesn't quite justify the cost. The pool is small, the breakfast offerings outside of the cooked options were lacking, e.g. the only fruit provided were melons, and our room's balcony was shared with others. I understand these are relatively minor complaints but at the prices charged I was expecting a little better.

Staff were lovely and went above and beyond. The bed was amazing, room and outlook very restful, the property is stunning, restaurant service outstanding and location perfection. Loved it! One night wasn’t enough and I’ll definitely be back.

Tiny things - rain shower head, didn’t seem connected properly and had a leak to one side so not great shower pressure/direction. I’m a fan of an adjustable head/handheld option. And it would be good to have the fridge shut away to reduce noise overnight. Both very minor things in an overall amazingly memorable stay!!

We enjoyed our stay at Lancemore Milawa. This was our second time and the hotel had undergone some lovely renovations. Staff friendly and attentive as always.

The food was the star on out first trip to Lancemore Milawa, this time the food was not the best as last time. The rib eye steak was not the best (room service). But the 3 course dinner at Merlot was lovely and staff great. The poached egg in our room service for breakfast had 2 pieces of egg shell (it’s not the end of the world) but just thought to let you know.

Staff mostly lovely and helpful. Bed very comfortable. Grounds well maintained.The bathroom was a disaster, as the floor floods from the shower. Only 2 plastic shower curtains, and no lip round shower. As we are elderly, it was very dangerous. Also, no vanity unit, just a handbasin. Nowhere to place your toiletries. Only mirror was in bathroom.

Breakfast was terrible. Bacon burnt to a crisp, scrambled eggs dry & hard, 1 tiny grilled vine tomato, baked beans missing. This was the Country breakfast on day 1. Day 2. No fruit platter, no bowls ( had my muesli on b&b plate. No muffins. Admittedly, they were full & busy, but waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken, then when I asked for more fruit to be brought out, was told we finis b’fast at 10am.

The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely (shared) balcony overlooking the garden pond. Easy parking and fast free wifi. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn’t have time to stay for the included breakfast and on checkout the reception staff noticed this and kindly ensured we took some lovely pastries with us.

There is a little noise from the winery across the road through the night (trucks arriving etc) but with the balcony sliding door closed, it was absolutely fine. It didn’t bother us so it’s only an issue if you prefer fresh air through the night.

Clean bedrooms and the food at the restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast (especially breakfast!). The grounds are well kept, beautiful and clean. Staff very were friendly and helpful.

It does seem to have a bug problem. Hallways littered with flies and fruit flies throughout our stay, possibly due to the close proximity to the vineyard. Would have been good to get the cleaners to vacuum and wipe down the windowsills. Also the balconies are not very private as there are no partitions, you can walk the length of the whole balcony which connects to all the other rooms (not great if you have kids also).

Beautiful location surrounded by vines Pool nice and clean and bigger than the photos, and overlooking the lovely view Room was spotless and beds super comfy Nice restaurants and wineries within a short walking distance

Getting beach towels for the pool was a bit of a challenge as staff were not often around the pool area Breakfast was nice, it seems like in one of the mornings there was a bit of staff shortage, next morning was great though Note that room was upstairs so we got to enjoy the beautiful view from our balcony, but there was no elevator so had to carry all our luggage from the car park up the stairs ourselves

Beautifully Located in King Valley Wine region, Lancemore has a beautiful charm and chilled environment, there was plenty of space to find your own space and have a getaway within a getaway, the pool was very refreshing and spa and sauna, it is conveniently located across from Brown Brothers and we also did the hot air Balloon tour with Goldrush Ballooning which was on the air strip in front of the Vineyard. Lancemore Restaurant food was five star and the barista coffee with breakfast was amazing and we are coffee critics 😊

Location, location for visiting Brown Brothers.. Lovely outlook. Huge room.

Very large room that would benefit from rugs on the floor (it was a cavernous space), a comfortable chair and some nice artwork. Hotel did not make use of their lovely surrounds by having comfortable chairs outside and on the upper deck to sit in. Shower could do with being bigger given the size of the room. Very limited sound proofing between rooms.

The whole experience of staying and dining with Lancemore was exceptional! The staff were so attentive, professional and provided wonderful customer service in each department. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a more deluxe room for the night of our wedding which was a lovely surprise. The food was so delicious I had the same breakfast option two days in a row. The dining experience was stunning, we loved all the variety of food available. The coffee was great and we had to come back for a second before checking out.
