Room was great Clean Modern Great value for money

The staff member checking us in was extremely rude. She had a friend there with her. They were giggling and giving each other eye signals. Disgraceful behaviour from a staff member looking after guests. I've never experienced this before. The men that have checked me in before have been nothing but lovely, helpful, respectful and polite. For a young lady to behave in that manner to a woman and her partner - I am 50 - is beyond what I've experienced before from any hotel. I would hope she gets a damn good talking to in customer service. And an apology would be expected to both me and my partner. We had planned this night out as a date night. Having a staff member do this to us with her friend giggling - beyond unprofessional.

The location was 10 min walk away from the metro line which connects the entire Melbourne and tourist sightseeing, It has a Convenient location and restaurants ( like KFC, Hungry Jacks, and a bar/ resto right next ) and 3 petrol pumps ( right, left, and front ). If you walk towards the train station, the street has many Arabic and English restaurants and pubs, Italian open kitchens, grocery/liquor stores, and whatnot. The place is amazing, a 15-minute walk to Chadstone Mall which again is one of the largest malls for shopping or eating.

The only issue the hotel does not have its own kitchen, so you have to get up and walk and or else you can uber eat also

Oros Hotel in Oakleigh didn't dissapoint. I booked a King Studio apartment for my wife and I for New Years. When we arrived at the reception, the staff were very friendly and generously allowed us to be moved from the first floor to the 3rd floor for a better view. The pros: The room was beautiful, the staff were very hospitable and flexible to our requests and most importantly, we enjoyed ourselves!

The only con of our stay was: - The balcony's glass fencing had a noticeable amount of cobwebs and dirt on the outisde, however, apon requesting for this room- the staff did inform me that this room was recently unavailable due to recent maintenance which could be the reason to this.

The building was located in a good place for where I need to travel for work. The rooms were modern and quiet and the complex had a spacious feel to it.

I did not expect to have to pay extra for car parking in this location. I assumed I was getting an apartment and being a genius member had requested an upgrade, however got a very small room and no upgrade. I did message and ask specifically as it was a special occasion for my friend. Behind the beds was filthy with dust, as was the shelving. It was very weird having body moisturiser in the shower - we accidentally used it as conditioner in our hair - it would make sense to have it with soap beside the basin.

The room was modern, clean, well-lit and everything needed was thoughtfully provided. The bathroom and shower were excellent, and it was only a 10 minute walk to plenty of shops and restaurants

For a 10 night stay I would have expected the room to be cleaned, beds made, bins emptied and towels changed during that time. They weren't - perhaps it needed to be specifically requested, but nobody said anything

The room was quiet, the air conditioning worked well. It was a short walk to a good cafe for breakfast. Parking was plentiful and easy and not expensive. The bed was comfortable. Good cupboard and drawer space in the bedroom.

The refrigerator was inadequate, couldn't even stand a small bottle of soft drink in it. The bedroom and bathroom were very dark with dark woodwork and tiles and the light over the bathroom mirror dazzled my eyes rather than lighting the mirror. There were no hand towels.

Really nice modern, clean rooms. They had plates/cutlery which really comes in handy and not all hotels have! My room was so nice and quiet, staff were lovely and I never had to wait for the elevator (score!). There's also a little servo next door which is handy for snacks/drinks. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

I didn't find any cafes/restaurants close by - only fast food outlets. Had to cross the main road to find anywhere but not a big deal overall.

We stayed in this place few times it very good place as in rooms are big and lots of space. last time we stayed we had issues with the tv staff tried to fix it however didn't work.

The standard of the room are gone down comparing to last few times we stayed but i guess value for money is there.

The staff member on reception was knowledgeable and very helpful and efficient. I was upgraded to a 1 bdr apartment which was lovely. Car parking was $10 per night but better than parking on the street.

There was an initial issue with my room it had food left in it on the table. Once reported to reception I was upgraded, so the issue was taken care of effectively and efficiently, cannot complain

Spacious apartment, staff were very friendly, location was great for what we needed.

Pretty out dated. Couches weren't very comfortable, and neither were the beds. Tiny little bar fridge that you couldn't fit much in at all... we were there for my sons cricket, would have been great to be able to put some water/powerade in the freezer for him, the very small freezer was pretty much useless as it had no door on it and you could only fit 2 drinks in anyway. The balcony was spacious, although it looked out onto a dirty courtyard. Litter and a very unkept (not really a garden anymore) garden that hadn't been touched for an extremely long time was our view. The glass around the balcony could do with a clean🙄 and a very uncomfortable cane like chair as furniture out there.
