Easy check in procedure, even after hours. The staff were very helpful in the lead up to the stay and very friendly on check out. Really well equipped room, having a washing machine is ideal for long hauls on the road. Room was spacious, the furniture and TV pretty good.

Even though everything related to the property is excellent, be wary of the location if you are a light sleeper. On a Saturday night you are next to a late night bar or something, there was a lot of noise from people passing through or people hanging around the front (This was because I was directly adjacent to it). It might be worth requesting a room away from reception if this is a factor. The road noise in the rain was something to contend with as well.

The room was well appointed and very appreciated after a long day of travelling. Tidy and clean with a comfortable bed and pretty views of grass area and pool. The room also had full kitchen facilities, though we purchased food from the bar area. In the morning, we walked over to the lakes/wetlands area and enjoyed a walk through for about an hour. Back to pack up and check out. The whole experience was easy and would stay again if in the area. Very enjoyable stay.

The only downside was that the on-site bar/dining option was a different establishment, which meant we couldn't take the glasses, etc, back to the room. It had just opened, so the food offerings were limited. Staff were great though and didn't take away from an enjoyable stay

My room was just a regular room and not a suite and it was just perfect for my one person, one night stay. The property is very clean and tidy, well kept. The two staff that I did speak to were so lovely and extremely accommodating. I will continue to stay here whenever I come down this way.

The only critique that I would have is possibly the price for a one night stay, however I do know there is costs that do have to be covered, such as room keeping fees, power and utilities. So I am happy to pay this much to stay here! 😊

m Hotel was a great place to stay clean, with good facilities and in a central location. I would reccomend this as a place to stay for a couple of nights as their were some great food options on site and in the surrounding areas, however I wouldn't stay here again if staying for work.

Having to get up early in the morning I went to bed early but was woken up as the wall insulation wasn't fantastic so I could hear people from the surrounding apartments coming and going throughout the night - even could hear neighbours turn on/off amenities.

The motel has been upgraded since my last stay but some of this work is still to be completed. Room had access onto lawn & pool area as well as to the parking area. We were only staying one night but the room had kitchen facilities including an oven, washing machine and dishwasher. The restaurant has also been upgraded and was very comfortable.

We were 'upgraded' from our booking for a king room to a 'king suite' but with the additions for the kitchen and appliances there was only room for a double bed.

Spacious, clean and very comfortable, one of the best pet-friendly rooms I’ve come across. Location is great with a beautiful walking track just across the road and excellent coffee shop just next door.

The storage in the kitchen area was too high to reach. I had to stand on a chair to get to the crockery! Also a shelf in the shower or near the bathroom vanity would be useful.

Breakfast included is great when you are not familiar with what is available locally. Really enjoyed the Regional Art Gallery in Sale plus exploring surrounding towns and coastline. Plenty of friendly advice from the locals if you were not sure of locations, and in Yarram a wonderful mural painted in 1999 by D. Leversha based on early life in the district

Difficult to think of what could be improved.

The motel is located in a central location within walking distance to everything. And the bed was extremely comfortable.

In the shower, the soap, shampoo and conditioner holders attached to the wall were empty, however there was 'globs' of liquid soap stuck on the wall. Also, I guess the previous people who stayed in that room had left an opened and used bottle and lid of shampoo on top of the empty soap, shampoo and conditioner holders. So in effect, the shower had not been cleaned. Others staying at the motel said they had little bottles of shampoo and conditioner in their bathroom. I didn't have these in my bathroom. Disappointed in the state of the shower.

First off, the blonde Receptionist was exceptional. Her attention to detail and customer service was second to none. I've been staying in hotels 3 or 4 times a week all year and this person has blown everywhere else out of the park. This is the first hotel review I've done. When I walked in, I had my work uniform on with my name, before we had said more than three words she had my booking up and ready. After a brief conversation she modified my booking without being asked to a different room with facilities better fitting my needs. Information provided was accurate and to the point. In addition to exceptional service, the room was reasonably priced, included a washing machine, dishwasher and cooking facilities. Honestly one of the best motels I've been to.

The wifi was a little slow, but still usable. There was a tile missing in the bathroom but nothing deal breaking.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. A real credit. We also enjoyed moving the outdoor setting under the trees in the afternoon to sit and chat and read.

It was a little noisy with the renovations going on, and we found that the sound travels from other guests. I think there was some tradies staying there that were up early and chatting among themselves. Also it would be great to have a small shelf either side of the bed for mobile phones, water and bedside lamps (or at least a switch to turn off the main light beside the bed).
