Our room,the Randolph Stow, had a comfortable bed with period furniture. The communal areas had comfortable seating and most evenings we had the company of other guests at the dining table. We particularly liked sitting outside in the seating area accessible from our room via French doors, listening to the birds.

While the kitchen was well kept and was as clean as it could be with dated equipment, it is time to update it with more modern appliances, if the owner wants to keep the property’s previously high ratings.

Room was large. Sense of privacy as walls to adjoinign rooms are thick and almost sound proof. Own ensuite. Bed comfortable. House is vintage, decorated in vintage style - beautiful. Kitchen well equiped. Close to beach and shops. Owner was flexible and understanding allowing us to dry camping gear on a patio.

The old house is large and quiet, rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The living areas are huge and open onto garden courtyards. There are lots of books to brows. It's an easy walk to the Geraldton Pub, where meals were good. You could enter and access your room without interaction. House guests were quiet. Off-street parking.

Overhead cupboard hinge in kitchen was broken and needed repair.

Reminder - older houses have fewer power points than newer ones (not a dislike for me, but others may need to bear this in mind)

Because of a mishap on the road up, I missed my first night's stay and had to re-order my programme. Very kindly Jackie helped me with that so that I was lucky enough to stay for two nights at this unique location - an original home decorated in vintage style but with modern influences. I would have loved to stay longer and, should I ever be in the area again, Weelaway will be on my list of places to stay. Very highly recommended and thank you for a lovely time.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

The room was tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was situated in a house where we had access to a common loungeroom and kitchen. Secure off-street parking was provided.

I did find the musty smell of many old books uncomfortable. Also, the kitchen was cluttered and needed some work.

Owner was delightful and very helpful. The house has the most beautiful furniture from a bygone era. VERY comfortable bed, and a great shared kitchen and comfortable lounge area.

Perfection would have been to have had more comfortable seating in the bedroom to watch TV.

it was all we wished it to be - the entire accommodation was excellent, location made it very easy to get to anywhere you wanted to go, and we would book it again when going to Geraldton - and would recommend it to all our friends heading that way.

There was not a thing we could complain about.

The checking in and out was seamless. We liked having the carpark at back of house with plenty of space. I liked the comfort of an historical house. I liked being able to use the kitchen The bed was super comfy & the street was quiet.

All good, we were in transit, so we probably didn't stay long enough to explore Geraldton

Whilst both the property and our room (Lara Morgan) were a lovely taste of history (with mod cons and creature comforts); it was Jackie our host, who made us feel very welcome and was full of useful information on her town, that helped earn our rating. A shame our short stay didn't allow for time to enjoy browsing the interesting book collection at the disposal of guests but the facilities provided i.e. ample kitchen & lounge would easily accommodate a longer stay. The location made it easy to access eateries and points of interest in a leisurely manner. Clouds robbed us of the sunset at the HMAS Sydney 2 Memorial but there may be another time yet.

Perhaps the car parking spaces could be more clearly marked as we were a little concerned about blocking other guests.
