They had thought of everything we could need, even providing us with an umbrella outside the room, laundry on site, BBQ, 2 heaters in the room, Netflix and stan, good wifi for free, a library with DVDs, books and games and provided high quality. Lots of little details to make the stay more comfortable. Loved the mini bar and the spa bath, coffee machine, dinner in the restaurant onsite was a real treat and loved that you can get a drink from the bar on a night. Such a nice walk around the lake and to the Gloucester tree through the woods. Gave us a nice map of the property on check in. Lovely couple who run the place, staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Wished they had lit the fire in the restaurant to make it extra cosy but nothing really.

Ingo was so accommodating and helpful with our booking and throughout our stay. We booked a room thinking it was pet friendly but unfortunately only certain rooms are so I contacted ingo and without any hesitation he sorted out our booking and upgraded us to the cottage without any questions asked . The room was so clean and all the attention to detail really made the difference. The grounds are just gorgeous with the wildlife and the lake and the onsite restaurant which we enjoyed a lovely meal with our friends at. Thankyou for our wonderful stay we will be back ☺️

Nothing can’t think of anything negative really

I was truly impressed by its aesthetic. The decor is thoughtfully designed, creating a serene and artistic ambiance that is both inviting and elegant. The soft, classic music playing in the background adds a soothing touch, making it an incredibly relaxing experience. The way the interior decor complements the surrounding garden is nothing short of magical, giving the whole place a dreamlike quality reminiscent of an enchanted estate. The room itself was wonderfully cozy, as the air conditioning was consistently running, keeping it comfortably warm throughout my stay. Overall, the atmosphere here is a perfect blend of tranquility and charm, making it an ideal escape for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting.

We love the facility, the food, the staff and the environment here. This place can settle and cure your mind and wash out your tiredness spontaneously. The culture of this resort speaks for itself once you sit down and take a moment to see and feel each part of the place. We would definitely come back again.

The relaxing atmosphere was just what we needed, the staff were great and we had a great time. Sometimes its the little things like shampoo, conditioner, shower body wash, and hand wash was supplied (in big containers) and was so surprised that our bed was made for us every morning (which I wasn't expecting) This place was extremely welcoming and we would definitely return next time we need a break.

My husband wasn't keen on the food, unfortunately, but he's a pub food guy.

It is rather a nice place: comfortable, pretty and very clean. Service is great - informed, helpful and very friendly. The restaurant is a highlight. Everything is tasty and portions are substantial, even if some dishes are not quite as one expects - but most enjoyable for all that. The menu is very varied and many dishes are simply superb. That includes hummus with truffles (as good as I ever tasted) and tom yam soup, which was quite on par with Bangkok. Happy to recommend; we will certainly return.

My room was comfortable with good quality bedding. Fully stocked mini bar should you want it plus a wellness basket. Also a fridge, microwave and - joyous for a coffee lover - a nespresso machine, a first for all the hotels and apartments I've stayed in in 2.5 months in Australia. There was a table and chairs on the verandah where gentle tunes play and you can enjoy a coffee or drink listening to the sounds of the wildlife. The property grounds are just beautiful, set round a lake (which you can walk around) with lots of greenery and kangaroos bouncing around. There are various outdoor seating areas and benches to enjoy the view from, or a glass of wine. You can also walk to the Gloucester Tree from here. The restaurant serves dinner at weekends and the food is amazing. I treated myself to a steak one night - it was perfectly cooked, had a variety of veggies and a red wine jus, was just delicious and honestly the best meal I've had all trip. A lamb dish the next night was also great. The continental breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of cereals, lots of fresh fruit, cheeses and cold meats and some homemade spreads. The whole property is immaculate and well maintained. There are lots of thoughtful little touches here that show the owners are focused on ensuring guests have the perfect comfortable stay. Highly recommend, I was sad to leave.

The setting was great for seeing birds and other wildlife. We enjoyed wandering the grounds and other close trails. We had bird and kangaroo visitors in our little yard. The setting was peaceful.

We read that they feed birds at a particular time and looked forward to that. However, it does not happen. The staff person said my wife only does that when she feels like it. I think he was the owner or manager. It was an odd response to a guest.

We loved our stay at Forest Lodge Resort..the room was very spacious, exceptionally clean also the bed was really comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the kangaroos in the field to the rear of the property were a lovely added bonus We dined at the Lodge and the meal was top class and we enjoyed it tremendously. The Lodge has undergone some major changes since we last stayed and the walk around the lake is beautiful. Our hosts were very attentive and professional and we will be visiting again.Thankyou.

Right from our booking we were looked after so well. every enquiry was managedcso well. We arrived just past 5pm. fabulous service. our evening meal in the restaurant was quite outstanding. Germany in WA authentic delicious and wonderful service. Our room was warm and cosy and had coffee machine a spa and everything on hand The locational ambience is very tasteful. What a great short break.
