Wow, we loved our stay here. This had, hand down, the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on away from home. It was a king size bed and must've been a hybrid latex/springs, I think; however, I couldn't detect springs. Partner disturbance was zero. Nice big room with separate ensuite. No shower in a bath (pet hate of mine). Instant hot water, serviced by an instant gas Rinnai outside. Two of our basins were slow draining but this was fixed immediately by the caretaker when we went out. It's all a little dated but the cheaper price reflects this and we didn't care anyway. The price was just right we think. Nice and close to town. We went to the Wild at Heart cafe every morning - awesome coffee and great food. Went to Jaspers for tea. Amazing restaurant. Food just brilliant. We wished we'd eaten there a couple of nights instead of one. Make sure you go there. Walks and things to do close by. Did a day visit to Nannup which was fun.

Reception wasn't open one day until after lunch I think. Apart from that it was great. Very happy to stay here again.

Location, pool, quiet.

The gym needs cleaning, once cleaned it requires a vacuum in there that works and products available to wipe equipment after use. Signs need to go up like a regular gym asking for equipment to be put away. Regular gym users will respect this more. My daughter and I cleaned up gym to be of help each morning best we could whilst there and would have wiped down equipment if we could instead due to how dirty it was, just used free weights.

Quiet, compact, nice grass outlook with small sheltered outdoor area. Excellent location for those happy with short walks - the Main Street was a short walk one way (Jasper’s restaurant is worth a visit for a treat) and the Gloucester Tree and Bibbulmun track a short walk the other way. Nice spacious room and useful kitchen with all utensils. Large and very comfortable bed.

The aircon is old school single system and was a bit noisy on the one night we used it for some fresh air. Not a big issue.

From the outset, reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I had booked two rooms and asked for them to be side by side if possible and was very pleased to find they had allocated rooms as requested. The rooms themselves were very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable, so were the pillows. The rooms had their own little verandah with outdoor setting that overlooked a large lawned area and gardens that were well maintained. Overall a great well looked after property that I'd have no hesitation in staying at again. Would definitely recommend.

Friendliness of the manager and staff. Our room was a nice size, clean and bright and overlooking a very green lush lawn. Loved the bed, very soft and comfortable and made it very hard getting out in the mornings. Had all the basics amenities that you needed. Motel is very convenient in the heart of the town to all the tourist attractions.

They no longer serve breakfast that we would have liked, but they have a excellent dining menu. Not really a negative as most guests seem to prefer a nice dinner in the evening. The only thing that would be handy is to have a non-slip mat in the shower as my husband has Parkinson's, and I was concerned with him slipping.

This place had everything you could need when living away from home. Big room and bathroom and comfy bed. Great value for money. All the staff were very friendly and helpful but special mention to Simon, who was always happy to help with anything I needed. Absolutely would recommend Karri Forest and will be back when in Pemberton.

Initially when we booked the accomodation it was just for the two of us and the room had two double beds. However, our plans changed and we had two of our grandchildren coming with us. I rang and advised this and the accomodation was changed to suit our needs at no extra cost. This was a lovely surprise. Our grandchildren loved the play equipment and the tree to climb as well.

The bathroom was a little awkward to enter and exit, however, it had everything we needed.

Staff were polite and friendly. There was a quiet patch of woods really close to the motel, good for a relaxing walk. Room was large, kitchen had everything we needed. Hot water was hot. Quiet place.

Old school, separate taps. Would be nice to see refillable toiletries (event if only filled for the number of days in our stay, e.g. 2-3 days worth of shampoo in a bottle) instead of many small packages - I know this is a custom in the industry, I don't like it, uses too many small plastic bottles. Bit of dust if you exhaust readily available wall power sockets and start looking for more, say, where the bedtime lamp is plugged in.

The sky light in the bedroom made it very light in the bed room which was great during the day but made it hard to get to sleep and stay asleep in the morning as it was so light. Light outside on the veranda was also very bright directly outside the main room. I'd suggest using a very light wattage glob so its not light full daylight.

We were 35mins into our journey home when my wife realised she had left her wedding ring on the bedside table. We returned and the manager had the wedding ring at reception. One of the house keepers had kindly handed it in. My wife way most grateful as this is a precious item. We thank the lady who handed it in. Room was as expected, clean and well maintained. It was easy to access for luggage during rain showers. We appreciated the Motel being dog friendly. We will use the Motel again when visiting Pemberton.

Good to see that rooms are being refurbished and brought back to expectations.
