I was given a warm welcome and given details of breakfast and a reward for not having housekeeping every night. A great idea to save resources. The room was clean and comfortable with a complimentary bottle of water. It had a TV, room safe and desk. The bathroom had a good shower and complimentary soaps and shower gels. The breakfast was really good with a good selection of tasty sweet and savoury items in a buffet style with teas, coffees, juices and more. The bar was open 4pm - 10pm and was a good place to sit for a drink. The hotel was in a good location only a short walk to the harbour, railway station and town centre. The cable car is also a few minutes walk away as well.

If I had to mention one minor downside, it was that the room was a little basic and slightly dated although it certainly did not detract from the overall stay and I would happily book here again.

Great location that is within 5-minutes walk from Bregenz Hafen train station, which also has a supermarket next to it. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and you will be able to have a good rest. The hotel staff is very helpful to assist with your needs, such as storage of luggage and providing a map of the town. A complimentary bottled water and an electrical fan is provided in the room too. Breakfast is excellent with a very good selection. I love that they provide loose tea leaves for tea too!

Though the room does not have a refrigerator, the hotel staff is very kind to help you store your cold purchases in their fridge. There isn't a kettle for you to make hot drinks in the room, but I think the hotel staff might be able to assist too.

Smart modern hotel, well situated just outside the town centre, only a 5 minute walk from Bregenz Hafen station and boat piers. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice including fresh fruit, local cheeses, different breads, and home made cakes. Excellent tea selection and good coffee. I ate in the restaurant one evening (actually outside on the terrace) and the food was excellent. I had the Zwiebelrostbraten, which was the best I have every tasted. Home made ice cream for dessert was also tasty and different: honey and thyme flavour! Food was not cheap but it was worth it.

Great breakfast and enjoyable space to eat. Relaxing and bright. Location was in walking distance of all the best places in Bregenz. Having guest parking was a huge plus point and one of the reasons for choosing the hotel.

Would have liked air conditioning but we discovered it's something that isn't authorised in Austria due to regulations. Luckily there was a portable fan.

Everything was perfect. The room and bathroom were spotless, The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, fresh bread and cold cuts, as well as the usual bacon, eggs etc. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the waitress who looked after us in the evening when we had drinks. Had we known the restaurant was so good, we would have had dinner there rather than going into town. A bonus was the free covered parking, and this is very worthwhile being so close to the city centre.

Nice and cozy place! Very tasty breakfast and comfortable room! The stuff was helpful and offered a nice place for a local cuisine! Location is simply great, u can reach the promenade in few minutes by walking as well as city center!

Unfortunately stuff forgot to say that there is a e-vehicle charging option in their parking, we noticed just before leaving. But i would say, the hotel should add this to their amenities, so when making search filters ,would be very useful for e-car travelers to save the time 😀

It was a shame that the restaurant was closed. It would have been nice to eat there in the evening, especially as it was quite busy in the town, with the 3 Countries Marathon on, and not very many eating places.

Location is great for access to the lake, restaurants, shops etc. The breakfast has a good variety of options and is fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet as it was located in a separate area outside of the main hotel building.

The room was cold when I first arrived as the heating was turned right down and it took quite a while to warm up to a comfortable level.

Location was great being near the lake, harbor. Staff was very friendly. The facilities matched the price point. Restaurant was very good.

It was hot on our arrival. There is no air conditioning. There was a fan in the room. Even with the unusual heat, we were reasonabaly comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was a minor issue - the coffee machine used for breakfast. It only made Espresso vs. Americano. It was slow when 10 guests were trying to get coffee. Suggest keeping the machine but adding a simple thermos coffee dispenser.

We loved this hotel. Everything about it is geared to making the guest as comfortable and as well looked after as possible . The housekeeping staff do an amazing job- our room was spotlessly clean with soft white bedding and an eco friendly way of providing shower gel and handwash . Great parking provided and such a fantastic location. We couldn't have chosen place to stay. Superb breakfasts and the best porridge and scrambled eggs ever. Easter chocolates were left on our plates - such lovely little touches . Free use of the spa/ sauna for guests too. I honestly couldn't fault this wonderful place. The staff are a credit to Hotel Germania. Thank you.
