A really nice place to stay in an excellent location. The room was very large and had some really nice period furniture. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a great range of food and good coffee. Its major selling point was the pool and sauna with panoramic views, which we used to escape the rain one evening.

Nothing to dislike, but it is worth noting that the hotel is in the town’s main square so you do get some background noise until about 10pm.

we picked this hotel for the pool and we absolutely loved the pool! i mean, the entire hotel is super nice, breakfast was lovely, but with two little boys who love water/pools, the rooftop pool was the absolute highlight! also super location, without question. the little tavern downstairs is also very handy!

Unfortunately for Me, I was there to rest only from 9 am to 6 pm, and I will definitely return. It is the perfect hotel, near the city center and also the bahnhof, with swimming pool with a view

I had to choose between rest or enjoying the swimming pool. On my next dtay, I will definitely enjoy the swimming pool!

The hotel was a little bit more expensive than I normally would pay but was worth it. I really enjoyed the view at the swimming pool and had a great meal in restaurant and all staff I met were very friendly a d happy to help would definitely stay again thanks craig 😀 ❤️

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The location is excellent. Very clean.

The hotel’s restaurant was always full. It was difficult to find places to eat in the evening in Lienz. We wish the hotel could have told us to reserve at its restaurant in advance.

The breakfast was very good, many different meals, We liked it

On the arriving day we couldn't use 3/4 board, although we came at 3.p.m. So we lost it for the first, and also for the last day. It means, when you take 3 day board you got only two, i thing that it is not ok.

Fantastic owners and staff running a delightful historical hotel. Superb pool on the top floor and superb restaurant in the basement! Private parking a short walk away. Great location. Would definitely return here.

Second time there, so I knew what to expect. The location is the village of Lienz in the small centre, but nice for an evening stroll. The hotel has a private parking lot at 50m from the hotel, free of charge. The beds are really comfy and long enough for my 1m93 frame. WiFi is very fast, also in the room and of course free of charge. Breakfast was very complete, from healthy fruits to scrambled eggs and bacon. Yummy. We had dinner in Hotel "Goldener Fisch", which I can really reecommend. We were there after riding the GrossGlockner Hochalpstrasse in our old Z4, whith the Dolimites on the menu for the next day.

On the hotel: nothing Some nav systems will send you to the "Hauptplatz" where the one of the two entrances is. That is a pedestrian zone. You need to be at the "Süd Tirolerplatz", where the other entrance is. There's a (busy) paid parkinglot. You will need to find a place so you can check in and park your car in the hotel's parkinglot. I just dumped mine in front of the entrance for the 5mins that takes.
