I had a good stay at the Alba Hotel with some great points and a few downsides. Pros: Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. Facilities: Both the pool and gym were top-notch. Staff: The staff, especially Rashad, were very friendly and helpful.Comfort: The room and bed were cozy and comfortable.

Cons: Toilet Smell: There was a bad smell in the bathroom. Parking: There's no parking available for guests.

Due to the fact that I had a long transit flight, I had to stay at a hotel. I landed at about 10 am, after leaving the airport I had to find a transfer to the hotel, fortunately I had the Bolt and Uber apps. A taxi from the airport costs about 15 Manat (10 Eur) I was already at the hotel at about 11:00, I thought that I would have to wait until 14:00, but they settled right away and didnt take money for an early check-in (for which many thanks to them) After a few hours of rest, I decided to eat in a restaurant and try the local cuisine, they cook so delicious I was surprised that after I ate the hotel waiters came up to me and asked my opinion After I booked a SPA service (you need to book 1 hour in advance because there are a lot of people) While waiting for my turn, I decided to swim in the pool and take a steam bath in the sauna. The pool water is warm and pleasant Of all the SPA procedures that were, I chose "Scrub Full Body" is such a pleasure 110 Manat (60 Eur) As it turned out, the SPA procedure was performed by a professional therapist, after the procedure I feel as if I was born again :) It is better to look at the city in the evening, because Baku at night is much more beautiful than daytime. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the center if you go by taxi ( 5 Eur ) The breakfast is excellent! A lot of choice. I liked that the omelette is cooked right in front of you Check out starts at 12:00 but they call you and remind you of this 20 minutes before departure, but I asked for 2 hours of time because the flight was at 17:00, to which I was told "no problem" In general, I liked absolutely everything in the hotel! There is everything you need for a great holiday. The price-to-appearance ratio corresponds because 5 star hotels in the center are very expensive (from 200 Eur) I think for 40 Eur a 5 star hotel with such services is just a luxury for such an amount If I ever come to Baku again, I will definitely choose this hotel

I'm happy and I recommend. Spacious and welcoming lobby, amazing & helpful staff, classy & well equipped rooms and a decent swimming pool. I haven't used the other facilities like the gym and spa. The included breakfast was great but some more variations on a daily basis could help. The place is about 15-20 mins away from the old city but taxis are cheap and readily available by Bolt which makes this a non issue. Some places are not anything like what they advertise online. I had to check out from one such place on my first day in Baku. It was such a relief when I checked in Alba. This hotel would be my first choice when I visit Baku next time and I would definitely recommend to my friends back home.

A wonderful hotel, with an excellent location, delicious breakfast, a luxurious sauna with a gym and a swimming pool. I really liked the hospitality of the staff! Among them, I would like to especially mention administrator Jalal, who will always help you with a smile!

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and located in a great area, making it super convenient to explore Baku. 🏨✨ A special shoutout to Waiter Emin, who went above and beyond to make our breakfast experience delightful every morning. 🍳☕ His friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly stood out. The rest of the staff were equally amazing—Rahim and his brother were incredibly helpful in assisting us with finding nearby stores, which made our stay even more enjoyable. 🛍️ And of course, Jango was such a joy to interact with! 😄 We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our visit. This hotel is a gem, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Baku. Thank you, Alba Hotel team, for making our trip so memorable! 💖

The TV in the rooms is a bit small, and it would be great if the washrooms could include a Muslim shower, which was not provided.

The staff was great! So helpful in every request. The location was good. There was a store for food and snacks just a few minutes walk plus a delicious Turkish rest just around the corner in another direction. The Turkish rest was not very glamorous to say the least but the food there was almost reason enough to go to Baku. The pool area was clean and relaxing. It is not huge but big enough to get a good workout. Another plus was that all the rooms had new mattresses. They were changed while I was visiting.

No soundproofing at all. The bedding comforter was small. I had to turn it around so that it was long enough.

I would book the Alba Hotel again if I happen to visit Baku again. Everyone there is hard-working Rashid is very very good plus all the other receptionists. They have a variety of foods for breakfast we were so humbled. The restaurant food is cheap plus all the gins and wines. We were the only 3 black people at the hotel but everything looked normal and the staff was so welcoming to everyone. I would only request to put water taps inside the bathroom if possible and change the charging switches inside the rooms from double hole switches to 3 hole switches for one has to buy a socket if their charging cables are not 2 way. Otherwise, I am recommending this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Baku well done ✅ to everyone who works there. 💯👍🙏

Decent property but not 5 Stars. Maybe 4 stars. Breakfast was okay but not much variety. It has an indoor swimming pool. The front office and concierge staff was good. Overall the hotel offered good value for the rates.

Rooms were small in size. The door keys were outdated such that we got locked out with the key in the slot and it couldn't be opened again and the room had to be changed. Even before checkout time the concierge staff kept asking for the key while we were in lobby. The hotel is in an alley in front of Piano Hotel.

I like all the stuff, including the cleaners All are amazing with smiling faces always.. The pool and spa ...perfect.

I'm sorry but the food is not good. As Arab , it's difficult to eat pizza in the morning, I just ate eggs daily. Also, beef and chicken are not cooked well , their's blood inside .
