Arrived at the Bed and Breakfast and this was a great choice. The owner and his son are lovely people and could not do enough for us. The manager has a great sense of humour and has loads of stories. He will recommend nice restaurants and will be happy to help with taxi's . The taxi company he uses and recommends is 'Taxi Pancho' and after having some really awful taxi companies in Brussels, it was really nice having a more relaxed travel to town centre. The accommodation was amazing. Very comfortable and clean. If you have booked this property , you will not be disappointed !

if there was anything i would complain about and this is very minor . The stairs to the room could do with hover and clean. This was the only thing i could think of putting in this section.

Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, Fresh bread, croissants and orange juice. Loved the towel warmer so you know that your towel is dry to reuse again. With the window close it is a very quiet place at night. Free bottle of waters was provided and great coffee you can make in your room. It was nice that the host was reaching out to us to confirm our stay and arrival time and was very informative. As well quick to responds by text when we had a question. So that made it very personal

Small night light to turn on in the bathroom. with the glass doors you light up the whole room and it is very dark in the room what is nice but without the light you can't find the bathroom. Maybe a handle to hold on when you step out the bathtub. It is high and slippery. Amenities where great.

Hotel's location is great, about 10 min walk from the train station and 25 min from the historical center. It was pretty quiet, too, in spite of having a room facing a main street, due to decent sound insulation (plus the fact that the tram line passing right in front of the hotel was momentarily out of order). Classic, beautiful building as well. The host, Karl, was great, making everything easy and sharing all the needed information. Breakfast was delicious and rich, no complaints there. The room was spacious and furnished with all the necessary items. The bed was very comfortable, with good pillows and an adequate blanket. There is no doubt about where we are going to stay when visiting Ghent again!

Absolutely recommend staying at this hotel if you want to treat yourself to a wonderful stay in Ghent. Just some of the highlights were the super comfortabel bed, the beautiful shower that was very complete and my personal favourite, which was the breakfast that was exceeding expectations by far. Karl has rebuilt an already beautiful house (Heerenhuis) into a Boutique Hotel that will make your stay unforgettable. Karl gave great tip and had a lot of interesting insights

I personally love walking and don't mind learning the city by foot, but it's a little walk through Ghent to arrive at the famous three towers. Of course you can opt for an Uber or taxi, but I would always opt for the walk to experience the city and do some window shopping

Wonderful small B&B at an ideal location in Ghent, a few minutes from the train station and a 15 minutes stroll from the city center. The room was clean, very spacious and beautifully decorated with a big and modern bathroom. There's a backyard which guests can use to relax or have a drink (there is a bar in the B&B). Breakfast was really delicious, with more than enough to choose from and was served specially for each guest as if it were the fanciest restaurant. The owner lives at the premises and he is very welcoming and happy to do anything to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

Ghent is a very pleasant city to walk in, so the hotel is very well located, it is very close to the train station and it is not far from the center. The room is well lit, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast was also very delicious, I really liked having fresh orange juice , freshly squeezed, variety of breads and hams. Karl is very attentive, he speaks several languages, which makes it easy for tourists. In short, I recommend this hotel and if I have the opportunity to return to Ghent, I will surely look to stay here, I really enjoyed my stay

The Hamptons is one of those locations that live up to the expectations completely. Perfectly situated near the park, the city center and the station, it has a staggering amount of quality restaurants nearby, too. Rooms are luxurious and kept in perfect condition, with some of the rooms featuring a wonderful bath. The breakfast alone is well worth the stay, with fresh breads and a variety of cheeses on offer. One of the accommodations in Ghent I can highly recommend.

Karl was a very pleasant host. The b and b was situated a 10 minute walk from Gent St Pieters & there were regular buses and trams into town. The room overlooking the garden at the back was wel appointed with high ceilings & the en suite bathroom was very smart. Comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely served in a plush dining room

There is an on site residents bar at the b and b which was in use one night we were there. Because one of us is a light sleeper we found this a bit difficult. Overall though a very pleasant stay

Location is great. Right beside a tram stop with a frequent service into the centre of Ghent that only takes 10-15 minutes. Despite have a room facing the road, weren't bothered with any noise. Rooms were beautifully presented and very comfortable.

There was an issue at check-in where someone else had been given the room that we had specifically booked. Issue was probably down to the owner being on holiday and having someone cover for him. We had specifically chosen a room with a shower and overlooked the garden, but were given a room facing the road that only had a bath. Room was still a very nice place to stay and very comfortable, but disappointed that we didn't get features that we had deliberately chosen.

Extremely pleasant stay. The owner is very helpful and kind. Very clean and tidy B&B and excellent breakfast service. Top floor attic room with electric dormer windows. Very spacious room and bathroom, well furnished and tidy. There is a coffee machine in the room with pods available, a minibar for a fee, and air conditioning/heating. Bathroom with numerous cosmetic products, electric hand dryer.

Small tip: a small kettle is missing for an evening herbal tea would be welcome.
