Very good location. Close to city center where you can find restaurants, pubs, bars etc. A lot of shops around. Al type of shops, from groceries to clothes. For a 3 stars accommodation, everything was ok. Underground parking lot was a bonus, even if it was small and I had a challenge to go inside car when other cars were parked next to my car. As everywhere in Belgium, prices per night was very high.

The reception is open from 15:00 to 20:00. If something happens it will be an adventure to find them. I called them at 20:03. Nobody answered. Pay attention to key card. Keep it away from phones. Otherwise you will have the surprise that it is not working. And it could happen out of reception working hours. We had 2 key cards. One for me and one for my wife. Lucky!

It is a comfortable studio with a complete kitchen. It is in a central location and only 10 minutes from the train station. With a card, you can easily access the building and apartment. They were available for late check-in on the phone for questions.

The layout of the studio is not very convenient. There is no side table or outlets next to the bed. The apartment was on the 6th floor, and we had to go up the stairs from the 5th floor, which was not specified in the booking. Because of the late check-in, the final steps of the booking were overly complicated, including having to pay the city tax on their website.

Great location, easy access, clean.

My room was clean, but there were holes in the sofa, the floors were very damaged, scratched up. The sound of moving chairs of neighbors is very noticeable. The concierges were very friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable and did everything to help me out during a very last minute situation.. there was one front desk person who gave me the wrong information in regards to the extra payment for city tax etc and luckily someone else was able to help me on the day of my arrival so that I could have my late check in.

The fact that reception desk hours are rather limited. Given that you can't pay the city tax in advance (like you pay for the property), you cannot get the instructions to get the key and access the facility until the same day you get there. If you are travelling and have spotty (or no) Internet connectivity, makes the whole experience quite stressing. We were arriving late at night, and we didn't know until rather late in the day if we were going to be able to enter the facility!

It was a very pleasant complex, very clean and well designed. The bed was pretty OK, and the shower was great. Reception and other staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I mention 'location' because although the property is right in the centre (and therefore perfectly positioned in terms of the city), it was also right next to a gym and I could hear running machines until quite late. Also, there were windows right opposite the room, meaning I had to keep the curtains closed for most of the stay.

I stayed here during a festival, so we paid too much for what it was but were lucky to have found anything at all. The room was great. The sofa bed was actually more comfortable than the single. The kitchen seemed well equipped (but I didn’t use it). The room is spacious. You can open all windows, which is a plus for me. And when closed, they really keep out the noise. With the curtains closed, you can keep out the light very well. The location is right in the middle of the city, at a 5 minute walk from the station; it’s absolutely perfect. It’s surrounded by shops and restaurants. The staff member that checked me in was incredibly friendly and helpful, despite the fact that the WiFi died which must have been a stressful situation for him.

There is no possibility to check in before 3pm, nor to leave your luggage beforehand. And you have to check in before 8pm. You can call a phone number but this is a general one for all their properties, so despite them being very friendly, there’s nothing they can do for you. I also assume that you will not be able to leave your bags after 8pm.

Great location, big rooms, competitive price, nice and clean and comfortable. Good and equipped kitchen.

Only minor detail is that they requested to wash the dishes before checking out or a 25€ fine would be charged, though we found the cutlery a bit dirty from the previous ones. Also the shower flooded because the drainer was clogged but we managed to fix it quickly. Apart from these things details it's very great and good value

Despite arriving at getaway leuven during the time when the reception was manned, the intercom from the door went straight to an automated message and it was not possible to communicate directly with the reception. This is really not good enough and should be remedied. We only gained access because another member of staff happened to be entering the building while we were attempting to communicate with the reception. If it were not for this lucky Chance we would have a great Deal of trouble. Once we got to the reception, there were no further problems. It is absolutely necessary that when the reception is manned, that direct communication is possible with the reception staff from the Front door. This would probably stop me from using getaway Studios again. Which would be a shame.

I like the location, the size of the room, the kitchen infrastructure. Everything you need is present. Do not expect to be able to cook, but the kitchen is sufficient for morning and evening meals. Bring your own coffee machine :-)

I had an issue with the bed that I could not close it any more. And the music from the bar was way too loud during one of the evenings. It stopped or I fell asleep around midnight.

The Getaway Studios Leuven is very well located in the city centre, with fast access to bus and train to move around city and to other cities. It is located in the commercial area, surrounded by lots of places to eat.

The reception only opens at 15:00 and there is no way of leaving the luggage before that time. The closest place to keep the luggage is in the Leuven train station, which is 900-1000 m from the Getaway Studios. Getaway is very well located in the city centre, but because it is a city with lots of students, there is a lot of noise in the streets during all nights of the week (and sometimes on the weekends too).
