The location of the castle is just great, enjoyed it a lot and the looks of the buildings. A unique, enchanting place, certainly worth a visit. Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Possibility to rent a kayak and go on the river. Quiet rooms, peaceful surroundings. It was a perfect place to rest and hope to return there in the future.

A pity there wasn't a kettle or a coffee machine in the room, although there is a bar in the next building where you can buy stuff. Sometimes just felt too lazy to go there.

A perfect place to stay! A perfect combination of modern chic and historic grace. Delicious gourmet dinner on site, and breakfast was also wonderful, with local breads and cheeses being a particular treat! Do eat here! Courteous staff, lovely romantic dining room, historic with a sophisticated modern edge. The patio was also a delight, with a sleek bar serving up drinks. Being riverside with large grounds to explore added to our stay. I highly recommend this hotel, it is a delight! (We also appreciated our ground floor room, with a spotless uncluttered chique room, marvellous shower, comfy bed and quiet rural setting! We decided to ditch another city stop in Belgium and head to a more rural and scenic area, closer to the Ardennes , an excellent decision! Enroute from Bruges to Arnhem, we stopped at Les Jardins D’Annevoie, Dinant, Chateau De Veve, and the village of Celles. (There are two Celles towns of this name, pick the one in this area!)

Tranquillity and nature. A stunning property in private gardens overlooking the beautiful River Meuse. We ate a lovely meal on the romantic terrace before strolling around the garden pathways, followed by a little cocktail at the bar before bed. The staff were great, and breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Although the room was lovely, you need to upgrade the beds. The mattress topper on a lumpy bed is just not cutting it, I'm afraid.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel nestled in the midst of nature's beauty, and it was a truly enchanting experience. The hotel itself was a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The spacious parking area was a bonus for those who wish to explore the natural wonders nearby. I couldn't have asked for a more idyllic escape!

+ situated in the most lovely location: directly at a quiet river, almost no other houses around + one of the most special hotel-locations I have ever visited + beautiful outside area, sunbeds directly at the river, lovely old main-building and modern adjacent building + possibility to canoe on the river + beautiful bar

Everything was close to perfect, but some minor points for improvement: - hotel seems a bit understaffed when it is fully-booked, especially breakfast was a bit "messy" - slightly weird smell in our room's toilet - staff at dinner was not particularly friendly

Especially the location was amazing; it feels like you're away from the rest of the world for a weekend. Breakfast was great and we would recommend booking a table at the restaurant.

The majority of the staff spoke limited to no English or Flamish, luckily there were a few translators :)

The beautiful villa has a great location in the midst of greenery, alongside a river. We visited in early spring, so nature just started to bloom and we could see that in summer Les Sorbiers will offer an absolutely wonderful scenery. We loved the rooms & decoration, which was simple & colourful.

Idyllic spot on the Meuse just North of the French border with Belgium. Very tasteful room with full length glass doors to the balcony. Beautiful spot to wander the grounds and have a drink and snack in the garden. We didn’t eat at the restaurant which is very refined, but despite this they had the bar available and made us a cheese plate with fresh bread to go with our beers. Oh and I didn’t see these options when I booked (maybe very popular?) but there are two yurts you can sleep in too. Plus the hotel offers kayak, e-bike, and paddle boat rentals. Good idea to have these activities available since we were told that swimming in the Meuse is prohibited (how sad!)

The location was not easily accessible by bike. It was a steep climb up and then back down to the river bank opposite the Voie Vert. Once you get there you won’t want to leave which could be good or bad depending on your needs. I was daydreaming that maybe the hotel will start offering a little ferry service across the river for cyclists!

Warm and clean throughout the whole hotel. Extremely comfortable bed and very peaceful, quiet and attractive location. Excellent food and friendly staff. Very dog friendly.
