I stayed here on a solo trip for 10 days and from the very first minute, everyone made me feel at home. I happened to arrive on a Monday when the locals host Trivia night, so it was a great chance to meet other people (not just other travelers, but a lot of locals hang out at the bar/restaurant). Glenn at the bar was amazing. I wanted a relaxed vacation and it's exactly what I got. Also, the food at the restaurant is fenomenal! Go for the full lobster, you won't regret it! The beach was clean, they have a team clearing up the seaweed before sunrise. Speaking of sunrise, I got up at 6am every morning to watch the sunrise at the beach, and the hotel has the coffee out ready for you to drink it as you rise. I honestly can't wait to come back, it was the home away from home!

The property was right on the beach and had a fabulous view of the morning sunrise. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had any questions. Being almost 6' tall, I usually rate lower if the showers are not tall enough. The showers were incredibly tall and water pressure was wonderful. Food was incredible. Did NOT have a bad meal at all.

Take bug spray as there were a few bugs (sand fleas) in the evening enjoying a snack of your bare feet and legs. The walls are a bit thin so no loud noises if you are sharing your room with your partner.

The on site restaurant and bar food was very good. The amenities were very nice and well kept. We enjoyed the hammock swings. Plenty of beach loungers and porch chairs to sit on. Both pools were nice and clean. There is a grocery store next door. The staff are very helpful in making our stay very enjoyable.

There are no drawers or dressers to put your clothes. No luggage rack to get your bag off the floor. The on-site boat rental never opened while we were there.

We enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. The staff was wonderful all around. It was really great having the restaurant there where the drinks and food was delicious and being right on the ocean was the best. The rooms were simple, but were clean and had a nice balcony looking over the ocean. Pools were very small but nice to have. It was nice to take a stroll along the beach. Renting a golf cart was totally worth it to explore the island and going to secret beach where the beach was much nicer. If on a budget you can rent it from another place for less than from the hotel and they bring it to you and you can even drop it off at the water taxi or airport.

Unfortunately you couldn't really use the beach for swimming due to the large amount of sargassum seaweed which is a problem at all the properties along that side of the island. Our bed was not comfortable but that might just have been our room.

Big shoutout to Leroy, Monica, Daniel (ask him for a fresh lime soda), Nigel, Jamilla, Jerry, and the rest of the crew whose names I didn’t get. Loved the coffee machine in my room. Loved the easy access to trips and tours - thanks again Leroy. Loved the location- it’s just on the edge of the San Pedro mayhem. Loved my little balcony and the feeling that I was literally on a beach. Loved the food - I recommend The Belizean off the dinner menu.

Let’s just say my mattress had seen better days (and a little too much action?!). Speaking of which, the soundproofing could be better.

This is a really nice property and a good location on the island of San Pedro. Only a 10-15 minute walk along the beach to main area of town The staff were excellent accommodating and very friendly. The rooms were very clean. The beds were a little old however, it was still comfortable. The food at the restaurant was really good and a really good price as well.

The beach doesn’t have a sea wall which is great. However, the Sargassum which unavoidable was a lot. But the staff worked hard to remove it every day.

The property is well situated on the beach, an easy 10-15 minute walk along the beach gets you to the ferry dock. Being not right central downtown, the beach is really nice and quiet. For many tours, they will also try to pick you up right at the dock which is super convenient! The amazing Mr. LeRoi can arrange pretty much any tour for you, as well as provide great recommendations for places to eat in town. The restaurant at the hotel is also well priced with great portions of food with some guests from other hotels coming over for breakfast and lunch. It was never busy and there was always a seat. The room was bigger than we expected as well.

The beds are a little worn, but it didn't stop us from getting a good sleep. If you prefer a softer bed, you might have some larger frustrations, but for the price and the other positives of the hotel I wouldn't let it sway us from staying there again!

We loved our stay! It's modest and not flashy but was perfect for the low key stay we were looking for. The location is outside downtown which we preferred - a golf cart came in handy to explore. It's walking distance to multiple food options and was a 5 minute walk from the Belize Pro Dive center that we were using. The staff were all really great and accommodating- even decorating our room for our anniversary! The beach and views are beautiful and it was nice to cool off in the pool in the afternoon. Special shout out to Nigel at the front desk for always being ready to help, to Glen and the other bar staff for great service, and to the manager Beth who made sure to check in with guests.

Considering the comparatively low price of course we weren't expecting a high end hotel. There are some parts of the property that are a bit worn. I wish there was a comfortable place to sit inside our room but we did only have the basic room. This wouldn't be a problem if you booked into a villa which all looked really nice.

A nice experience at the hotel in Belize! The staff, location, beach, and grounds were all marvelous, contributing to a truly wonderful stay. Highly recommended for a fantastic getaway!

Beds were old and uncomfortable. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything. The pictures show the suites there are only half a dozen of those. The main hotel is like a motel with balconies. No elevator and four floors. The spa is an experience itself. Location is fabulous services are not top tier.

Location was right on the beach. Food was just OK. AC was great. Banana bread was on the menu but they said they couldn’t find bananas to make it. Very friendly staff. Massage by the ocean was amazing.

The sorghum was so bad that I wouldn’t go in the ocean. Such a disappointment. Very basic accommodations The walls were a bit thin and I could hear the guests above me every night. Would have preferred bottled water instead of filling up used bottles.. The pool were small with kids in both . Would be nice if there was an adults only.
