Lovely small poussada set in beautiful gardens and close to beaches and shops but away from the noise of the main centre. Very friendly and helpful staff

Room (chalet) was comfortable clean and spacious but quite dark. Would have benefitted from more windows and mosquito screens so that we could have left the windows open

Lovely hotel set in beautiful tropical gardens just on sea front a little away from main drag in Morro. We chose sea view appartments but I think the garden bungalows are better n more spacious with more privacy, where our friends stayed. Really lovely staff and owners who were really helpful, very good breakfast and best meal we had in Morro in their restaurant in the evening. Well recommended.

Nothing really. Our sea view room double bed was a. Bit small but it's a small quibble. Very nice choice.we were very happy here. Morro is quite crowded and some of the beaches while beautiful were a bit smelly from sewage over flow which is a pity.

Fantastic location- quiet, but still close to all the action of 1a and 2a praia, but also close to the beautiful 3a and 4 praia. The bungalow was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and an amazing hot shower! We loved sitting on the verandah and watching the rain! While the internet in the rooms comes and goes, wifi in the restaurant area worked well enough for work Zoom calls.

The breakfast could be improved. It was mostly pastries with the option of a tapioca, but nothing amaing.

Location is great, you literally live 5 meters from the beach. Room is great and very beautiful. The restaurant is delicous!!

The only thing which is minor was the bad sheets that weren't attached to the bed itself, so you wake up everyday when you sleep on the mattress itself. Beside that everything was perfect

We loved the nature around the bangalow. In the mornings you could only hear the birds singing. And the location is perfect. Right before the third beach but near all the restaurants and night life.

The toilet had some issues and didn’t flush very well.

I highly recommend Chez Max Pousada. We had a great stay here. The place is close to everything, the staff are super friendly. I would like to make special thank you for Samia in the reception, she was super friendly, went above and beyond, helped us with everything, tips, organised tours etc. Her attention with the guests was 5 stars. Well done for Pousada Chez Max for having her on your staff. She makes the place extra special.

Everything was perfect

Just à little bit inside the garden, so it is pretty quiet. The accommodation was not our type, but was fairly clean. The bathroom is fine and all working. The breakfast was full and nice and kindly served

The room in a tent type of shape was not our type. It was a little bit dark, even more down the garden. Limited space to put our things. No TV.

We loved everything, but one thing that could be improved is the breakfast… it was good but it could be better

The pousada is in a prime location, close to everything. The bangalow we stayed in was absolutely amazing and gave us a tropical island stay feel. Breakfast is very good and has quite a few things from Bahia. And the last, but not the least, the staff are very kind and friendly. They do all they can to help and are always smiling.

A great place, far from the noisy 2nd beach of Morro de Sao Paulo! If you are looking for a quiet stay, around nature in a lovely bungalow - this is the place for you! Very comfortable bed, very clean chalet. Breakfast very good in front of the ocean. Perfect for couples!
