That our cards didn’t work so we had to pay cash and get it from there atm and they took a big fee other then that it was good

Check in confusion due to staff thinking the price was 50% higher than the price I booked at.

Excellent location just a stone throw from beautiful Recreio beach. Beach towels and parasols provided for free. Good breakfast. The view from the balcony was stunning. Comfortable room.

As decor is all-white cleaning should be near perfect which wasn't the case. Furniture showed some signs of wear, the same as the bathroom's door. Annoying safety policy of giving you a paper wrist band to wear during your stay. We removed it and private security guards kept approaching us to ask us to identify ourselves with our room number. Even though they were polite it was a bit intrusive and annoying to be asked 4 times on the same day by the same person who we were.

We really loved the style and white colors. Location was great the beach just on the front of the hotel they give you towels and the hotel has chains and umbrellas on the beach. Breakfast was good in nice clean place with nice view. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Plenty of space for clothes and nice working area. Big comfy beds and balcony with great view. We were amazed with roof top pool it was big enough clean warm and just beautiful. The stuff was helpful

Frigobar was kind of expensive and nobody really counted what was used

We went half board and really liked the food, there was a great variety of it, really good quality as well. The drinks at the bar were quite expensive we thought but they were really good. The restaurant staff were lovely as well. The bedroom was great with good AC and comfortable bed. Good access to a gym (bit small but it’s well equipped with good machines).

The pool area is quite small for the number of people staying at the hotel. We felt as though there was no flexibility around the check out (ie. Ability to use the facilities whilst waiting for transfer).

THE VIEW FROM THE ROOM AND THE POOL ARE AMAZING. THE BEACH IS MUCH MORE QUIET AND DRINKS ARE CHEAPER THAN CENTRAL RIO. AMAZING ROUTES FOR RUN AND CYCLE TO THE WEST OF THE COAST. FELT RELATIVELY SAFE. WE SPENT TWO DAYS TO RELAX ON THE BEACH AND WENT TO ANOTHER HOTEL IN IPANEMA TO DO SIGHTSEEINGS. THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION IF YOU HAVE A BIT MORE TIME.

THE HOTEL IS QUITE OLD, HENCE POORLY MAINTAINED AND NOT VERY CLEAN. THE BREAKFAST WAS A BIT ABOVE AVERAGE. THERE ARE NOT MANY FACILITIES AROUND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD.

The building is stunning, beach is right in front of the property. Great balconies with stunning views to the beach and cliffs!

I wish room cleaning would clean the balconies. If you’re a smoker they get very dirty very quick. Some bits of the hotel are a little dated, but just the odd detail in the carpet etc. Nothing dirty from lack of cleaning I’d say. Oh and breakfast should be more varied!

Breakfast was impeccable with a huge variety of different delicious things to try out, I often only eat a single small plate of breaksfast, I usually ended up with 2 or 3 here. The ocean room view was amazing. The service in the hotel is pristine, they were perfect at every single moment!

The room itself had a few issues, the AC is pointed directly over the bed, thus one of the people will end up with cold air in the faces the entire night, thankfully the nights were at almost a great temperature to sleep without AC. The shower drain was overflowing and the pressure in the sink was way too high, seriously felt like a pressure washer, often making us quite yet.

The location of the hotel is perfect! Facing the beach. Of course, here I am evaluating the location of the hotel, but not the distance from the tourist attractions in Rio. Breakfast was very good. The reception staff are all very polite. We had a problem with the room and it was fixed immediately. The pool has a very nice view and if it's not busy it's perfect for relaxing. The room is a good size and everything was clean. The bed is comfortable. The internet works very well with no interruptions. The beach at Recreio dos Bandeirantes is beautiful. You can enjoy the beach without anyone approaching you. Check in and check out is fast.

The hotel is all white, including the rooms, so you need to pay more attention to maintenance (furniture and wall painting). But even in need of a new interior paint, our room was clean. The hotel faces Recreio dos Banderirantes beach, the view is beautiful, but this neighborhood is 32km away from Copacabana, for example. For people who want to visit the main tourist attractions in Rio, it is not a good option. But for those looking to enjoy a clean, uncrowded beach, enjoy nature and take a moment to relax, this hotel is perfect.
