Excellent location in Copacabana. Very reasonably priced. Superior double room is of decent size and has all the basic amenities one needs. Most staff very professional and friendly.

On the first night due to an error by the hotel I was given a room of lower category than I had booked (“standard” as opposed to “superior” double). This was extremely small and uncomfortable. As an apology the hotel gave me free breakfasts for the entire stay. Internet on the 11th floor was very slow and connection would often drop, in particular in the mornings. Breakfast very limited so not worth paying for but there are plenty of options in the area for every taste/budget.

The property was well guarded and safe and I liked that a lot.

This is Windsor as a group Tried to move my booking to Windsor Palace just close by as it stated it’s sold out on Booking.com but when I went to Windsor palace they had rooms available as I wanted to stay near my friends. They stayed I couldn’t transfer even if I had to pay the difference but I still like Copa tho. I think there should be some level of understanding at times when a guest is desperate as my friends were staying in the other side and I’m a females and Rio isn’t the safest to walk around alone at night gf to take Ubers anytime I stayed out past 9pm

The friendliness of the staff! From the reception, the cleaner, the staff in the entrance till the guys that give you the beach towels. Everyone was with a smile in the face! Pedro, Lucas and Leonardo gave us the best information for the city of Rio and helped us to explore the city in comfort and safety. The room was very clean and all the areas of the hotel were very clean as well. The location is a big plus of course since everything is so close! On 4 Sep 2024 morning while waiting to be pick up for the event, enquired one of the counter staff members, where I could look for a photo studio to print a passport size photo for the Bolivia visa application. I only knew English and I did not know or understand the any local languages. He (a young middle size male, by the name of Leonardo?.). He went an extra miles by checking through the Internet and showed a location & name of a photo studio, which was 5 lanes away from the hotel. Through his help I managed to locate and print copies of such photos for the Bolivia on site visa application.

This was such a wonderful stay here in Copacabana! I recommend Windsor Copa to all who are looking for a safe and excellent place to rest your head while in Rio. I have to say nice things about the following people: Lucas Almeida, Leonardo and Gleyce. From the time I arrived till the time I left, they were extremely kind, kind, compassionate, and accommodating! They helped me with everything I asked for, and I am very grateful. This is my third time staying at Windsor Copa and I will be back next time I am in Rio. Brazil is such a wonderful country to come explore! Make sure you stay here at Windsor Copa to make it the very best time.

Location, small distance to the beach. Lots of restaurant, markets in the area. 8 minutes to the metro station. 5 minutes to official van to Cristo redentor

It's in a heart of turistic zone of Rio, but its already invaded by the homeless... They are in all places. It's full of police too, but like a tourist it's not a good and 100% secure For sure isn't hotels fault, but that is the true

Rooms were cleaned daily. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything worked (aircon, tv, fridge), a good location, walking distance to beach, metro, restaurants and the theatre.

Although you could not hear noise from neighbouring rooms, the noise from the street right through the night made it difficult to sleep. I used ear phones after the first night, to block out noise.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel when we visited Rio. The price was affordable and still felt like luxury. The staff were very accomodating. We arrived really early on the morning of our check-in (6:00am) and our room wasn't ready yet until 3:00pm. We asked if we could check-in early and pay extra because we were really tired and it was no problem at all. They even threw in free breakfast for us that morning while we waited for the new room to be ready early. We were able to enter our room at 9am and it was very comfortable.

The room was a little bit small to fit our large luggages so it was a little tight around the bed area. But other then that everything was really good!

Breakfast & gym hall were OK. The view from our room, at a higher floor, even if it did not looked upon towards Copacabana (which was ridiculously close to the hotel though) was fine as we were able to see another Sugarloaf-like hill in the back of the high street. We had not so common choices for restaurants (”Bonde Boca” on Rua Barata Ribeiro 51, authentic Brazilian experience) and tried to 'evade' hotel experience by choosing from the many cafés around (MINI JOE'S Café, close to the hotel, an excellent choice).

As we were for the first time in Rio we have welcomed better info from the hotel reception about what is THE experience of Rio. But in no way scarce infos on this matter have prevented our daily routine.

Location, location, location! Two blocks from the beach and also two blocks from a supermarket. We picked the hotel because of the location and we were not disappointed. It’s a nice hotel and we were there when it was 98° so it would’ve been great if they had the pool but unfortunately they do not. Still, AC works great! Good security at the door which adds to the feeling of safety, Rio is sketchy so that’s just a fact of the city and they mitigate that sketchiness by having security guys, we appreciated them! Breakfast was also a nice addition and it was a good assortment of breakfast foods. Shout out to Leonardo at the front desk who was lovely and friendly and luckily we were able to check in at noon which was priceless after a 15 hour flight day! No pool but we knew that ahead of time so not a dealbreaker by any means.
