The pool, room location on the lake, the glorious breakfast, dinner, bar service. Including being able to go from morning swim directly to breakfast (also lakeside). The shop. The drum and dance performance. Staff delightful and accommodating. Room spaciousness and decor, bathroom efficient design. Balcony and its lakeside view. The synchronicity that colleagues happened to be staying there as well resulting in productive meetings, exchanges and planning.

A tad remote from city center.

The property is lovely. Unfortunately, I did not have much time to enjoy it as I arrived around dinner time and left early the following morning. The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. The restaurant food and service was great. The view of the lake was lovely; I don't recall seeing online that you cannot swim in it.

I was cold in the room. There was a AC unit, but the heating part did not work. It leaked all over the floor and got some of my things wet. It would have been nice to have a big cozy duvet out there if there is no temperature control for the room.

The breakfast was great and included with the room; the dinners were great including custom made salads and a great pool for swimming laps.

Beach erosion is reducing the size of the beach which is much smaller than my last visit 11 years ago. I also did not like that you cannot swim in the lake because of hippos which swim in the lake and come on shore at night.

Scenic views of lake Tanganyika. Beautiful grounds too. The room was quite large, good for stay with family

It was a bit chilly at nice. Would have been nice if a warm blanket was provided. Also nice if an iron box is given on request, rather than asking a guest to pay for their clothes to be ironed

Great location on Lac Tanganiyaka Wide area with lots of space and guest infrastructure (great pool, small gym, seating on the lake shores) Good breakfast

Rooms have seen better times, esp. bathrooms are dated

The pool was just amazing, one of the best I ever saw in hotel, semi Olympic perfect for good swimmers. Rooms are huge, well equipped. The staff is great. Good restaurants with amazing fish. All in great scenery, at the lake, beautiful garden and trees. Probably best place in Burundi.

breakfast could be better for 5 stars although probably this is related to market shortages

The view of the lake from my room was beautiful, I would highly recommend requesting for this! The facilities were an interesting mix of modern +local Burundian culture, which I completely loved. The food is also well done, and a huge beautiful pool that is ideal for both adults + kids.

Nothing much to write home about the breakfast. Then again I have a preference for an english breakfast

-Pool was inaccessible due to floods. -Fact that i cannot pay a single bill in 2 currency is stiff and not flexible( paying partly cash and partly visa wasnt allowed)

The location very beautiful view of lake Tanganyika from the balcony. Great service at reception, restaurant and housekeeping. Airport shuttle service very good. Very helpful staff especially Vianne.

Bathroom could be worked on so that water doesn't flood the whole bathroom floor. Otherwise it is a great place.
