Our Foxwood Inn stay was a pit stop for 3 adults to an onward destination. We chose a suite with comfy queen bed in a separate bedroom that had a TV, dresser and night tables. The tasteful common area held a basic kitchenette, another TV, and a comfy pullout sofa already equipped with bedding. Blanket & pillows were in another dresser. Four Van Houtte coffee coffee pods were supplied with the Keurig coffee machine. The bathroom appeared newly renovated, was roomy, clean & bright, with fluffy towels, large squirt bottles of Dove amenities and a hairdryer provided. Water pressure & temperature were great. There is plenty of free parking, and all the staff we encountered were friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. The free breakfast offered yoghurt, hot & cold cereal choices, bagels, toast & boiled eggs. Hot selections were sausage patties, fried eggs & purified. There was to go coffee offered in the lobby for guests were depart before the 6 am breakfast hour. We had a very nice dinner at the BW restaurant a short walk from the hotel.

The Foxwoods is only 3 stories, so there is no elevator. No issue for us, but those with heavy luggage, request a main level room. Also note that the Suites with separate bedrooms overlook the Highway, which has truck noise all night, which can be audible from the separate bedroom only. The common area with sofa bed was quiet.

This hotel is modern, clean, comfortable. Our king-sized bed was firm with good pillows. The TV worked and was easy to operate (unlike some other hotels with multiple remotes and "boxes" to turn on). The complimentary breakfast included freshly fried eggs, bacon, ham and hash browns, cold cereal, breads, yogurt, juice and coffee etc. Waffles are available on request.

Overall no issues.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. I was exhausted, and couldn’t get a room in the twin before and this place came through in a big way!! Accepted my deposit and the room was great! It was clean. I was tempted to vacation in fox creek!

It was a continental breakfast, everything was good except the cream cheese is kept at room temperature with the jam .

Clean. Friendly staff going above and beyond. Always a smiling face to greet You. Breakfast was delicious. The pricing is amazing for the quality at this hotel.

Everything was awesome.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice and comfortable. We were doing the golden triangle and rode our snowmobiles right up to the main entrance. Service station was right across the road to top our machines and get back into the trail in the morning.

In a small town with a ton of hotel rooms, it can be hard to make a choice on where to stay but Foxwood makes it easy. Great value all around. I had quite a bit of equipment and was staying on the second floor, without asking the Front Desk requested help from maintenance man Harvey for me. He came quickly, with a smile and seemingly happy to help me. That set the tone for my stay. The housekeeper I met was another gem and you can tell she takes pride in her work. My room was spotless and that is comforting especially after coming out of a pandemic. The hotel has other Covid measures in place that help you feel safe. Speaking of safety, as a solo woman traveller I felt secure here and that’s important. I stayed for 3 nights during a heatwave and had to turn the AC down it works that well! Bed is super comfy, room is large - I stayed in a King Jacuzzi Suite. Hotel was quiet. And if you’re a traveller, you’ll know how hit and miss water pressure and temperature can be at hotels. This place nails it - water flow is strong and it gets either hot or cold fast. It’s little things like that that make a trip that much better.

The only things that I didn’t like was relatively minor in the big picture. If you have a lot of luggage or gear like me, or have issues with stairs, being on the second floor could be a challenge. The fan in the bathroom automatically comes on with the light switch and it is oddly noisy - but again such a minor thing.

Pet fee was low. Decent breakfast. Very clean.

Would have appreciated extra blankets for the pullout. It had sheets and a pillow, but no blanket.

Jacuzzi tub in suite cant be beat. And the price was very good too.

No elevator but the decor is nice enough to forget that.
