Location is great, just by the ocean, walking distance to the downtown , and the receptionists are very friendly , breakfast is pretty good

Facilities are too old, need renovation

The location is great and the courtyard was lovely. The staff were friendly.

The room wasn't very clean. There were greasy smudge marks on the tissue dispenser in the bathroom and the floor was only partially vacuumed. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The room was stuffy and hot. Because there was no screen ok the door, we couldn't leave our door open for air with our dog. It was a hot, uncomfortable, sleepless night. The sauna was broken and apparently has been for a year? That was a disappointment. The building and grounds seemed consistently run down and poorly maintained.

The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom / shower room was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the banter of the breakfast staff and the continental breakfast was one of the best ones we've experienced as a "free" breakfast. The location was great as it was close to restaurants.The pool was refreshing.

Disappointed that the hottub and sauna were not operating. Also, as we were at the back of the property, we had to close the bathroom window as other patrons were smoking at the bottom of the stairs and the smoke was coming into the room. Without AC, the room was warm and although the provided table fan was sufficient to move air, we had to open the patio door to cool the room in the evening/night. It was very difficult to open/close the sliding door. With out a screen on both the bathroom window and. patio door we did have mosquitos come into the room.

Considering I had surgery in the morning at the CRH, this location is perfect. 5 minute drive to get to the hospital. We have stayed at this hotel every single time we come down. It’s our favourite. I loved the Beach across the street and the view from our balcony of the ocean was stunning; what better way to wake up in the morning and see the sunrise over the water. I highly recommend this hotel and will continue to stay here any time I am in Campbell River. Absolutely love the staff members!

The price was expensive but I booked last minute and took the last room available, not their fault. We usually pay very decent prices. So as much as I wasn’t a fan of the price, it comes down on us for not booking sooner.

the night staff seemed quite annoyed that I booked the room on-line when I asked to see if we could have rooms that are closer together. I got "well you booked Online" about 4 times then he said "well I can look but it'll take 20 minutes" so I said never mind but while I was out getting the license plate he followed me out to whine about how I was "unfair to him". And all this while obviously having a cold and should have called in sick. Honestly the whining did not make us feel welcome.

The room was comfortable. Breakfast had something for everyone. Mini golf and pool were great.

Booked a king with sea view and balcony. You had to stand on the balcony for a sea view. Advertised a hot tub, sauna, pool. Only the pool was available. Sauna and hot tub have been out of service for a long time.

The room was quiet and comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished with different amenities. I liked the personal products on offer, and appreciated the coffee machine.

The breakfast area is a little bleak, and there's not much on offer. I feel they'd be better served by condensing the area where they lay out the food, as thinly spreading it around the frankly cavernous hall makes it seem like there's much less than there is.

We loved the opportunity to play mini golf or even having a BBQ corner as well as being able to sit in front of our room on the balcony. The breakfast room was big and the variety of food was great. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We absolutely loved the location. Being directly on the Ocean was amazing.

The rooms didn't have a/c which made it impossible to sleep in as we have planned to do and having the sink full of somebody's beard hair was a bit disgusting.

The breakfast was amazing. I was expecting stale muffins and coffee, but there was so much more. And the man who worked the breakfast room was great - friendly and very attentive to all the guests.

There was some garbage left under the bed and the bathtub had some hairs in it when we checked in.

Great location and nice ocean view. The parking was excellent if towing a trailer as it was along the road in full view of the motel room.

The room doesn’t have air conditioning and was a bit warm for our liking. The heat control did not work properly and we were not able to adjust it. Opening the patio door was the only way to regulate the temperature.
