Villa Motel was a perfect experience. We have stayed in Nelson many times, but not here. It will be our go to next time. Bed was SO comfortable, and having a pet with us was not an inconvenience. Staff were friendly, and let us check in early as it was pouring rain! Not fun walking around Nelson in the pouring rain! They were very accommodating. Room was very clean. Will stay again, and highly recommend it.

The weather could have been better, so we could have walked our dog down to the lake and enjoyed it. However, we needed the rain so can't complain!

Large room, comfy, little view of the lake, peaceful. Ok parking with the little trailer we have. Very clean.

No microwave in room. Had to lug food to the lobby & cook in there. Light switch in bathroom controlled one of the sockets which left our plug in travel freezer 'off' for the night (& we hadn’t realized ). No freezer in provided room fridge. Oh, & the usual dog fees & nothing provided for them like most places 😢 . Small shower with no place to rest soaps or shampoo….

Woody (host) is the most kind, considerate person we've encountered in a long time. Excellent service provider, who was willing to extend his hrs if needed...we were thinking we were going to be late to check in. Woody assured us he would accommodate us no matter what time. Motel was clean, comfortable & easy to find. Would go back again for sure.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, and we were both very happy with our King room. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is great, too - just a short drive across the bridge to downtown Nelson. The owner was helpful and friendly as well. We'd absolutely stay here again next time we visit Nelson :)

It was a small motel and well kept. Spacious room and quiet. Loved the table outside to enjoy the weather and view of BOB (big orange bridge). Staff were super nice and helpful.

Wish there had been a king size bed. The bed was a little rigid, but it was ok. It looks like they had a pool once upon a time, but it was taken out. That would have been a good feature to have. Having access to ice late at night would have been nice too.

For an old motel style,which I personally like, it was clean and comfortable and very roomy. We liked the location as it formed us to walk across the bridge and up the hill to the coffee shops and shopping. A good 5-6 kms.

outside in front could use some work , flowers , chairs and something to spruce it up

We were greeted with kindness, the no frills room was the absolute cleanest that I've ever stayed in! No smell of scented cleaners just actually CLEAN! very comfortable. This hotel is immaculately maintained, it's easy to see that great pride is taken to offer guests a comfortable stay.

The fact that there was only a coffee n coffee maker in the room, some of us don't drink coffee, and the fact that you have to pay for water, atleast a complimentary bottle won't hurt.

Location, 2 bedrooms with 3 big beds total in the suite, 2 coffee makers, 2 sinks, 2 TVs, mini fridge.

Not sure about every room but in room 60, the shower is only for people 5’5” & under. No chairs in the suite.
