The location is always amazing, one of the main reasons I stay other than I've been staying plus my family over the years have stayed here. It's covienent to a grocery stores and a drug store. It's always a reliable place to stay. It's always clean, the staff is helpful.

The room I thought for the price would be a little better as it just seemed like a very cold box. slightly disappointed, but it won't effect me coming back. The restaraunt was disappointing, they used to have a great restaraunt with the one of the best steaks I've ever had. Now there isn't even an option for a kids meal than an adults size fish and chips or just French fries.

I have stayed at the Driftwood in the past. At the time, The room was a very basic hotel type room (nothing fancy but everything you need). THIS TIME however, I booked a room with the ocean view, and that was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed the darkness in the room at night and was able to have a really nice, quiet, sleep, and then wake up to the gentle crashing of the ocean. It was nice to have a balcony and to be able to sit out there in the mornings with my coffee. The seawall is right there and super convenient which is lovely!!! Every single one of the staff members at the front desk and housecleaning were all absolutely lovely. Everybody was super helpful and took the time to help me answer questions and be super accommodating to some of my needs and requests. I like it so much I’m even thinking about coming back… Only a week later.

For me, it was a bit pricey for one person for three nights, but certainly worth it to be able to recharge

The location is amazing! Being that closed to the beach was wonderful.

The room was not clean at all - my puppy found an used condom on the floor (!). The room was serviced every day of my stay but I barely could notice it- the recycling was never cleaned and out of 4 night stay the garbage was removed only once.

The Inn is in a very good location and has a very spacious restaurant as well, however the breakfast menu is quite limited. It is conveniently located for lovely walkways along the beach and coastline as well as all of the facilities in town. The staff were very friendly and pleasant and the room was spotlessly clean with nice little extras and tastefully decorated. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Wifi was good.

Even though it was into lovely warm May weather, many places were still closed up and down the Sechelt peninsula and it was well into the afternoon before my husband could even get a cup of coffee anywhere. It seems places do not open up until the May 24th long weekend. The Inn itself is rather old and dated but they have done a splendid job with all of the niceties.

The room we had was a good size, our friends a few doors down had a smaller room. Being close to Davis Bay was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable.

We found hair on the bathroom floor near a rolled up bathmat by the toilet when we arrived. Also, the room door was very hard to open from the outside. The water in Sechelt tastes terrible, would recommend bottled or filtered water.

Very close to ocean , we had the family room and I could hear the waves. The rooms were clean. Washroom and shower were clean . Lots of towels given. They have free ice machine.also very close to grocery and restaurants. AC was working and we had a mini kitchen. Plates, cups and cooking pans provided. Coffee machine is decent. Very close to walking trails.

There should be replacement garbage bags. In each room. I want to empty our trash but no trash bag.

It doesn't look particularly inviting from the outside but everything inside is great. Very friendly and efficient staff, clean, newly renovated rooms and convenient restaurant nearby. The location is fantastic. Right next to the ocean and a beautiful walkway along the coast.

Maybe a new paint colour outside, otherwise it's great and I would go there again.

Sadly this hotel feeling the lack of staff, no breakfast available, but there’s a lovely bakery around the corner, got some breakfast came back to hotel eat it on balcony, restaurant making evening meals, best Chinese food had for quite a while,

Outer door to prom was broken, but not a problem as double the gazling, booking.com mentioning breakfast details need up dating,

The staff were amazingly friendly and courteous, even allowing us to check in a bit early. There was a feeling that the place is run by PEOPLE, not just a company trying to make money. Incredible view of the ocean from our room. Roomy accommodations - my husband and I did not feel like we were bumping into each other. The shower pressure was awesome and the shower came with a bathtub which was super appreciated.
