Reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and cool and no smell. Had all amenities but the hair drier in Rm 463 kept shutting off - over-heating on 'hi' speed. Lots of lighting options, lots of great plug in and USB plug options! Very convenient. LOVED that Denny's and CHOP Steakhouse were directly attached to the hotel. Made for easy eating at beginning and end of very long days without having to travel to a restaurant by uber/cab. Was a treat! Also the housekeeping staff on Floor 4 were exceptionally helpful and nice to speak with. Always acknowledging us when we passed in the halls.

Could've used a fridge in Rm 163 + 463 - Rm 263 had one which was great. Better hair drier in room 463. Also the ice-machine on Floor 4 did not give ice. Had to go to Floor 2. Rm 263 thought people were trying to come in to the room in the night, but realized it was people coming in/out of the emergency stair exit door just outside.

We enjoyed that William made check in super easy and it was really nice that the front desk receptionists made My daughter a little birthday gift basket. The rooms were very clean and well put together. The beds were comfy! The pool area was nice.

Being on the top floor all I could hear was the rain hitting the roof all night. It wasn't the worst thing and obviously not something the hotel can necessarily do anything about but that's all we found to be unpleasant.

I really enjoyed my stay here! We stayed for 5 nights. It was my daughters bdays one if the nights we were there and we had a minor issue with the room we were in and they were very accommodating. Moved us to a beautiful room and my daughter had a great birthday! On my second last night there I found out a family member had passed and I was devastated and felt like staying another night. They were great with letting me keep the same room at a great price! I will definitely be staying there again!

The room was clean and comfortable with the usual amenities, including a useful microwave and fridge. Having a Denny's nearby was nice.

The counter person who took my Visa card when we were checking in and stared at it suspiciously for a minute, then did something with her computer and then told me it was only accepted in Nepal, Given that it is issued by one of the biggest banks in Taiwan (and the world), and that I've been using it without difficulty at other places, I found this strange. I don't argue with people like this and just gave her another card. Housekeeping isn't available until 8:00 am, which can be a little strange if you want more coffee/tea early in the morning and room service was lacking a bit in the courtesy department.

The location was great, nice staff and quiet area. We loved the stay.

Small TV, no light in one of the lamps (in the living area) shower faucet kinda too slow, and the toilet was always running till we move the tab. Other then all this,

Needed the hotel to be near the new Royal Canadian Aviation Museum where a Celebration of life was being held for an Air Canada Captain who was my friend’s husband….she stayed with me in this room. The elevator security feature of having to use your room key to get to one’s floor!

Carpet on floor! Needs to be hardwood that is cleaner given the COVID-19 guidelines! Unable to control the air conditioning fan! If you shut it off then the air conditioner was off too!! Otherwise it was definitely better than the Days Inn that I changed from!!!

It’s pet friendly with a good airport shuttle. The area is convenient for the airport. The Denny’s is great for breakfast. The staff is awesome

It’s a bit dated. The lights in my bathroom flickered constantly. The ac was not great and the carpet was damp

Just a few big smudges on the mirrors in the elevator and lots of sticky/smudges around the elevator buttons on the outside. As these are high touch points they should be spotless. I didn't notice anything change in the three days I was there. Also the air conditioner was running hard the whole stay and blowing the cold air right up against the fridge and microwave, so preventing it from circulating in the room. I was in room 230, so not sure if that is the standard set up in each room.

Breakfast was good. Location was perfect for us.

Air conditioning wasn’t working in the room and the building was uncomfortably warm.

Close to airport, and there's free shuttle. The bed was also very comfy.

I stayed at Sandman twice on this trip, one night at both ends of my Churchill trip. On the first night, after I saw the microwave in my room, I went to Superstore to buy next day's breakfast. But the next morning, I found that the microwave doesn't work. The second time, I couldn't believe that my room didn't even have a mini fridge; and of course, no in-room microwave this time.
