Having recieved unexpected upgrade we loved an already super place even more. Brilliant location, just outside of Deer Lake, within striking distance of the Gros Mourne mountain park.nearby stores and veggie stands. Quiet, beautiful spot over looking brook with swimming hole at own risk. Very comfortable beds, all mod cons in kitchen, appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee. Ideal self catering. Smaller units no less comfortable than our amazing cottage. We would love to visit again and off season it was just perfect. Hosts very helpful but with light touch

Wifi was intermittent...not unexpected in remote areas and certainly shouldn't put anyone off going.

Great location halfway point en-route from L'Anse aux Meadows to Twillingate. Super nice, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, modern two bedroom cottage apartment in a pretty campground setting with an interesting story. We loved it here. Handy parking just outside and even wash cloths provided for cleaning bugs off the car windshield! Late hours grocery/convenience store just down the road. Quiet, scenic area.

We loved the river or brook that ran behind our place. Also the 🔥 fire pits and seating areas. The quite location is an excellent place to stay for a couple of nights or for a week or more. The location is only 6 kms. From Deer Lake and a hour drive to Western Brook where we did the boat tour of Gros Morne. Beautiful ...... Andy

There was nothing not to like.

The host was very nice. We had an issue not related to our room but they gave us an upgrade anyways. It was a beautiful spot and very clean.

My only complaint was the toilet paper. For sure an extravagant room, the one ply toilet paper left a lot to be desired. It didn’t fit with the rest of the luxury. Upgrade the paper and you’ll be a 10.

The motel is beside a lovely brook which you can walk to. The owner was very friendly and helpful and he gave us suggestions for take-out food and walking trails on the property. The suite was well equipped with everything a guest would need and the beds were very comfortable. There is interesting educational material posted on one of the buildings about local historical figures.

The water pressure for the toilet and shower could be a bit stronger.

Since I live myself out in the country, I loved that I was again in the country. Beautiful setting, loved the “rocky brook” in the back, loved the “room” itself, which was way more than a room. Two bedrooms a complete kitchen and a dining and leisure area. Overall, the best place we have had at our trip from SW Ontario to and in Nfld.

Nothing that I didn’t like.

Location. The facilities were clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with dinnerware, cutlery, plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable. I loved the firepits and that they had several areas for gathering with friends, or to say hello to the others. Beautiful brook right behind the cabins - fell asleep both nights to the sound.

It was a last minute stop along our journey. Host was gracious, friendly and informative about the area. Space was great and it was easy to find.

Coffee could've been included instead of charged. It's a very small cost for the host and makes a big difference for the traveller

The place is located near the stream with a beautiful small waterfall, easily accessible from the lodging. The owner is very kind and friendly. Check-in and check-out times are surprisingly flexible it's a bonus.

The rooms are a bit small for three people. Kitchen appliances are basic. Power outlets are few and located not so conveniently.

Beautiful property with a charming creek running behind the cabins. Colourful Muskoka placed around the property encouraging guests to relax, visit & enjoy themselves.

Wasn’t anything to dislike, other than not being able to stay longer.
