It was awesome . Such variety to choose ftom

We were extremely frustated find our room had been taken from our Visa Debit card befre ww arrived . We know we had to pay a room deposit of $50 as we checked in. We booked thru Booking.com. what was not explsined properly is becuase we did not book with a true Credit card. We were forced to pay full room and deposit upfront on arrival. That hirt us finacially fir the rest of Sunday. Had we known that upfront. We likly would have driven home. We found the whole experience very uppsetting for being penslized for not having a traditional credit card. To us it felt like were trested like criminals

We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the breakfast. We flew in from BC so often would wake up around 9:30 am and miss the breakfast. Wish it was open until 11 am. The bed and room were comfy and large. We love all the space in the room.

We wish the bathroom was more updated. Everything in the bathroom looked old and was cracking. Hard to feel comfortable to take a shower. We also didn’t realize there was some tournament so the hotel was full of young children who were running around and using the pool so we didn’t get to go swimming because it was packed.

Check in was very smooth, the front desk attendant was very helpful and easily answered any questions I had. If you have sore muscles/achy bones then check out their hot tub, it will definitely relax you. The towels are supplied to the side so no need to bring one from your room. There was lots of food in the complimentary breakfast along with tea/coffee, juice, and snacks for later.

The construction prevented us from travelling straight to our destination but that's not the hotels fault.

Breakfast and the staff preparing same. The girls are so friendly, caring and willing to advise of places to visit or eat. Jane at check-in is such an amazing, friendly part of your hotel. We keep returning a couple of times a year because of these people.

Us women come to enjoy our friendship, go out to dinner and do some shopping in the Barrie area. One thing that is a disappointment is the lack of seating out front. This time we actually tailgated on one of the girls vehicles. There is one "smoking" bench. I think another couple of benches or picnic tables should be added for the guests to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had an adequate choice to ensure all members of our family were able to get off to a good start for the day.

There was only one towel each for the three of us. It would have been nice to have maybe one extra. Also, there was no moisturizer. I'm not sure if this was an oversight, or something that is just no longer being offered, but we did end up grabbing some from Zehrs. Would have brought our own, given it was so cold and dry that weekend, weather-wise.

This is our second time staying here. The rooms are large, comfy, and clean. The staff is lovely and we love the pool and breakfast!

The only complaint I have is that the eggs were labeled “veggie omelet - no meat” and mine had ham in it. Thankfully I noticed before I took a bite but I would have been very upset had I eaten it. I don’t eat pork for my own personal reasons, but I imagine that someone who refrains from eating pork for religious reasons would have been even more upset by this. Just something to beware of, but the staff was helpful in ensuring I got a veggie omelet without the meat.

The room was huge, quiet, and clean. I felt very comfortable during my stay. The breakfast was solid and kept me full until a very late lunch. All the staff, but especially Autumn, Lucas, and especially Mark were very helpful.

They had problems processing my credit card, and I kept receiving email notices from booking.com stating that my card was invalid and I might lose my reservation. I received such an email even after I'd checked out the next day. The problem was 100% at their end, and I should never have been troubled in this manner. They also double-charged me for my room at first, but this was rectified as soon as I arrived.

The breakfast offers everything one could possibly want. Buffet style is the best! The coffee is excellent!

I traveled with my dog. For the $70 fee I would suggest to include in the room a bowl for water, 2-3 poop bags (2 dog or cat treats) and a fair size pet cushion with small blanket to cover the cushion. It is what I normally find in other hotels.

We came for two nights two weeks in a row to ski. Everything was great. Check in and check out process was easy and fast. WiFi was great. Room ventilation system better than most. Coffee in the lobby, bottled water available at front desk. We needed a later checkout both visits because we were skiing in the am and driving home to the US in the pm and they were able to accommodate us both times. Room and entire facility was clean. All staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast had plenty of different selections and there was plenty for everyone. Pool and hot tub were in great condition. Close to downtown. There was a fire alarm during our second visit about 4 am (ugh). Luckily it wasn't a fire but a hot water line or tank flooded the basement. No hot water the next morning but it was fixed by the afternoon. Some compensation was offered. We didn't bother with the compensation as we didn't take showers until after skiing and we preferred the late checkout.

We love the location of this hotel. The area and the traffic is not too busy and we get to our favourite shopping and dining with ease. We always get a queen suite, as it is spacious and has a table and chair and a sofa. This way, we don’t feel crowded. Coffee is available all the time, breakfast has a good variety. Staff is friendly and helpful.
