Location, location, location and reception. Exceptional view of the lake and marina with everything contained in one "city" block (LCBO, waterfront walkways and park, restaurant and, even a cannabis store two blocks away). The food served on the terrasse or take-out (no inside restaurant) is an excellent blend of indian (not too spicy, just right) and traditional (butter chicken poutine, pizza on nan bread). Add the lakefront charm of Haileybury and the combination is hard to beat.

Rooms are on the smallish side but very comfortable with all expected amenities. A restaurant should be added as the owner cooks excellent indian food (a bonus, literally).

It was so nice to stay here. My husbands family owned it in the early 70's, many good memories. so great to sit right at the waterfront. Our room , was in his day the laundry area, and it has been changed into a lovely room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would highly recommend this hotel . We will be back. Haileybury beach is terrific for all ages, very clean with great swimming area.

Right on the water, breakfast sandwiches and coffee included in your stay. Beach to the left of the property you can walk right to it. Rent a kayak or pedal boat and enjoy the views from the water! Alan and his wife are the sweetest people and truely care about their guests stay. We have definitely made some good friends with them and will be back as much as we can!

Ideal location, minutes from Northern college where I was helping my daughter get settled into her dorm for a few days.. Beautiful view! Very convenient parking. Loved the fridge freezer combo!! Larger freezer size than I have seen before. Really liked the hutch beside the fridge-great addition!

Didn’t turn on A/C because filter was very dirty; Incredibly dusty under bed; Room really should have a coat rack-(vacant wall by door)

The manager was on site and very nice. The room was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked well. Bonus: free full breakfast until 11 am! There is a small restaurant attached open to 7 pm offering Indian food and desserts!

I think this motel offers good value for the money. There is a wonderful view of the lake and chairs to sit outside, however there was a huge truck and boat parked across the front of the parking lot the whole time obstructing the view.

The room was redecorated and was very clean. The bed was good. The only thing I can say because of the time of the year the flowers were extremely cotherwise. I recommend this place.

I wish after we booked the place that they could turn to heat up more, especially in the winter. It's a very cold place that you could come to a nice warm room other than not no complaints.

I miss the owners son who was easier to understand and more personable. I don't know if he was doing the maintenance, but the place from last year looks a bit run down. My screen door latch broken, wouldn't stay closed. Poor Chaulking done everywhere takes away from a good looking room. Nice to have restaurant there now. Food was ok.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure to have no feather pillows or comforters in the room. The breakfast was a delightful surprise. The weather cooperated and we felt like we were at a beachfront island resort. It had more amenities than we expected (fridge, microwave were brand new)

The bed was a double, which was a bit small for us. The decor was a bit mis-matched and dated, but for such a reasonable price, I'm not complaining.

The room was absolutely adorable. Freshly renovated. Management was fantastic. It was my friends first time in Haileybury and she loved it. Looking forward to a possible summer trip for her.

The floors, especially towards the bathroom were freezing. I left pop on the floor in the case as I had one in the fridge and it was as cold as if I had it in the fridge. The mattress for me personally was not soft, it had slight give but that was it. And I have a bad back. Other then that it was a fantastic stay

It was clean and quiet

They charge an extra $15 for my fiancé to stay. Should be based on double occupancy and you shouldn’t have to pay for the second person!! Breakfast was just a water down coffee and an egg with sausage or bacon ( go with the sausage ) and no cheese.
