Wonderful Staff. The restaurant was hopping on a Tuesday night and the meals were tasty, hearty and generous. Bathroom was really clean and towels and bath mat really nice and thick, much better than your standard hotel offering.

Bedding was really clean but very thin and the room was too warm. It was a cool night and my preference is to have the room cool with warmer bedding. We attempted to turn the heat down but it didn't appear that the thermostat was connected to the heating source. Not uncommon in hotels.

Loved the restaurant. Made our entire stay so much better than expected enjoying that delicious food alongside the friendly staff.

A couple of amenities in the room could be updated such as the difficult-to-use blinds, an uncleaned coffee machine with stains and most importantly the lighting in the washroom as it was very very dull in Room 4.

Check in was really easy, rooms were clean and cosy! There was a charger for electric vehicle so it was really convenient as well. On top of that there was a karaoke during our stay and we had so much fun!

Very conveniently located to all activities around the area (Tobermory, Lions Head Park, Bruce Trail, etc). Breakfast and the Burger from the restaurant was really good. It was pet friendly as well which allowed us to travel with out pet (which is always a bonus). The staff was very friendly. The TV also had ROKU which was also convenient.

Breakfast was very tasty (except for the toast, which was burnt.) Location is easy to find, we really appreciated that you take overnight guests.

Did not like the traffic noise coming into our open windows. We anticipated less trafic but it really picked up by 6:30am. Unfortunately the room would have been too hot and stuffy without the windows open. A black out curtain on the back window would also help.

Pizza was great at the restaurant. The rooms were quite big and comfortable.

The coffee machine in the room was faulty. The coffee spilled over from the top when I was brewing. Had to clean the mess, not a big deal but something to fix or replace there.

It serves wonderful breakfast and dinner. Very hard working staff. Be prepared to go earlier to order food as it takes 20 min.But worth it!

The room was good but could have been a lot cleaner.

Restaurant's meals were very good. Service was very good. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean looking. Bed linens all seemed clean and fresh.

Better Soundproofing between motel room walls would make it perfectly lovely and make me rate it higher. Having said that it was not noisy.....you could just hear plumbing and vents being turned off and on. I liked the laminate flooring...I'm not a fan of carpet. But you could hear it every time someone dropped something on the floor next door or a pet was scuffing around. This was just occasionally and was not really a problem. Just an observation. As a light sleeper I am a fan of good soundproofing between walls

Sparkling clean. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Spacious room with chairs and space to move around. Comfy beds. Good size bathroom with all amenities and clean towels. Buzy, cozy and affordable restaurant with delicious food. We will definitely come back and refer the Bear Trails Inn to our friends!

No AC but there was big fan in the room.
