My stay at an exceptional hotel in Stratford, a town renowned for its vibrant Theatre Festival, is was an experience like no other. Each room in the hotel is unique, brimming with its own character and spirit. My personal favorite, the Edison room, is where a young innovator once lived where I feel incredibly inspired. By a delightful stroke of luck, I was upgraded to the Celebration room, a space that elevated my senses and spirituality. This room, graced by the presence of famous writers, holds their spirits and ideas, subtly inscribed on the walls with invisible ink. A standout feature in Celebration was the elegantly crafted desk made by the owner at the request of one of the writers. Positioned by a window with a serene view of the river and surrounding trees, this desk provided an unparalleled sense of calm and clarity. It proved to be the perfect spot for organizing my thoughts and letting creativity flow. The deep hot tub in the room added a layer of royal pleasure and luxury, making my stay feel truly extraordinary. The hotel's charm and thoughtful details made my visit to Stratford unforgettable.
I am dreaming about cafe on site that would be open on Sunday mornings to use the best terrace view terrace. Meanwhile, short walks to Balzac cafe would do.

When we arrived at the Inn, it turned out there was a mix up with our room as when we opened the door there was someone staying in it. Thankfully the owner quickly sorted the issue in under 10 minutes and offered us another room free at charge as well as free drinks (We ended up in the penny pincher room instead which was very nice!). The panic we had felt for where we were going to stay was quickly gone and it went back to being an amazing weekend. The room we stayed in was great, and had everything we needed. The property itself was lovely and very well maintained you can tell that the owner truly cares about the place. I would love to stay here again as the staff was amazing and the location was great as everything was in walking distance. If we are ever back in town will 10/10 be booking here again.
The room mix up as their system seems to have a few bugs but since they were able to solve it so fast it really was not an issue at all. Other than that there is no issues and this place is perfect!

First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. It’s just a short walk from the river, beautiful parks, and all the theatres and restaurants you could ask for. Whether you’re in town for a show or just want to explore the area, everything is conveniently close. The Relic unit in Perth County Inn was impressively spacious and fully equipped, making it perfect for a family or a group of friends. It had all the amenities for a comfortable stay, and I truly felt being taken care for. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations again, and I can't wait to return.

The location of The Perth County Inn was perfect. It was within easy walking distance of downtown, restaurants, and parks. The room was designed to feel large and spacey in a small area. We loved the setup of the room, the design, and the amenities. It felt like being at home rather than in a sterile hotel room. The little map and video of how to get to the building and the parking lot were a great addition to the regular information from the owner. Communication was a breeze although once we arrived, there was no need to contact the owner. Added bonus is the smell coming from the bakery downstairs early in the morning!

The room was lovely, modern and impeccably clean. We found the touch pad entry easy to use and the parking was very convenient. We had a few texts from the owner, Bruce which were very helpful, including suggestions for dinner (we would recommend the hungry ninja!) An extra bonus was being upgraded to the celebration room. All in all it was an excellent experience.
The one and only issue was that the kuerig in our room didn't work. I'm sure this would have been fixed if we were staying more than one night, but we still had a kettle for tea and a recommendation for an excellent coffee shop round the corner!

It was a beautiful Inn. I stayed in the, "Courtside Room", and it was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and check in was a breeze. It was excellent value for the money. In the morning I found a package outside the door with a note and breakfast treats. I was definitely not expecting that! I was emailed information about the Inn prior to my stay. I even received a short video on where to find parking. I felt that no detail was left out. All this information helped to provide for a great stay.
I found that the shower could have been more private. It is not a problem if you are staying with a spouse or close family. If you were travelling with friends, it might have posed a challenge.

I recently stayed in the Swan room at Edison Inn, formerly known as the Cafe room, and it was a delightful experience, as always. The room is spacious, its standout feature is the breathtaking river view, where you can gaze out and spot elegant swans gliding by. This picturesque scenery adds an extra layer of tranquility to the stay. Edison Inn masterfully combines nostalgic decor with modern amenities, creating a unique and comfortable atmosphere. The blend of vintage charm and contemporary features makes every stay memorable. The location is simply the best!

I’m writing this review on behalf of my parents, who I booked the room for, although I’ve stayed at this property several times myself and love it. They told me their room was lovely and had a great view of the river. They also said It was very clean and the owner was extremely helpful assisting them with a problem unrelated to their stay.
As it’s a super small establishment, there is no front desk, which might be a concern for some travelers, but the owner is so responsive over text/phone it wasn’t a concern for our party.

Imagine a retreat that's more than just a home away from home. For me this hotel is an oasis of comfort, where every detail, big and small, has been thoughtfully curated just for you. This season, I discovered a yoga mat and a small fireplace waiting for me, elevating my experience beyond expectations. The owner's attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly amazed me. A weekend in Stratford is always a delight, come rain or shine. World-class theatre, lush parks and gardens, vibrant flowers, and stunning river views await you. Indulge in delicious food and explore stylish shops, all while knowing a perfect night's sleep awaits you in your cozy room. It's not just a getaway; it's an experience crafted with love and care, ensuring every moment is memorable.

The location was amazing, and walking distance to all of the main areas of Stratford. It was also right along the water so very close to take a nice walk each day. The room was beautiful, and very clean. We had no issues with anything and enjoyed the little extras - coffee mugs made of pottery, coffee, yoga mat, etc. Parking was free which was appreciated.
The parking location for our room was a bit of a walk away. We were able to find it with use of the map that was provided, but it was a bit of a scramble to do so. Walking with out overnight bags was a bit tough.
