It was in a quiet little town. It was decorated beautifully and had a porch and big patio area where different groups could gather for drinks or a chat in beautiful private gardens . The owners were descendent of the original owners and took great pride in their lovely place. The restaurant was fantastic

Our room was on the second floor of an old house with quite a few stairs we weren’t expecting- no elevator in an old house- but someone did carry our bags up for us being that our knees and hips were giving us older folks a bit of trouble & carrying the bags up was too hard. Also, i would prefer check out to be given to us on paper when we left rather than email afterwards.

A very welcoming atmosphere that was clean and visually appealing. The room was very tidy and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. I did not get a chance to eat at the hotel, although I wish I had. I will certainly make an effort to come back and stay at this hotel again.

The location was slightly isolated from bigger cities/towns, but that could really be considered as adding to the hotel’s charm. My only real concern was that my hotel room’s TV was pretty old, and the door to my hotel room felt flimsy and didn’t do much to block out outside noise from the hallway/other rooms.

We were given a room we had not booked and although it was really very nice, it was a Queen bed instead of a King. We asked the owner about it and he agreed it was the wrong room, but he couldn’t change it until the next day. The next day they did give us a king room, but no sofa or iron as there should have been. The TV did not work but to be fair we didn’t need to watch it, so we didn’t let them know. The lady on the desk the next day said we had to pay extra to stay in the room we had already booked.We refused, reluctantly she let the charge go, but in a somewhat indifferent manner, which was unnecessary and unacceptable. The hotel was lovely and the manager was very pleasant. We ate at his pub up the road and the food was good. The breakfast was very disappointing. It was put in the fridge on a plastic tray. I feel for this price we should have had breakfast in the restaurant. Day old croissants don’t really taste good. The breakfast let everything down. It really was not good at all. Very poor and very cold breakfast in a plastic tray. Attitude of one woman in the hotel. Rest of staff were fine. Being asked to pay more for a room we had already agreed to. Not being offered a discount for staying in a Queen room when we had booked a king!

The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The customer service at the front desk was excellent. Our car needed servicing before we could continue with our travels, and the front desk attendant at the hotel recommended a garage in the area that was able to fix our problem within the hour for a reasonable price, and provided great service. We were grateful for this guidance.

We didn't like that breakfast was served in a grab and go Bento-box type take out container. The tray held yogurt, granola and fruit salad, and was made available in a fridge in our room. I understand this arrangement has to do with the effort to safely serve guests during the Covid 19 pandemic, however a simple muffin or a bagel and cream cheese served at room temperature would have sufficed in this situation. A light option like this would have successfully carried us over to the next meal, and have involved less packaging.

The manor was in a quiet village and we liked it. ​The room was comfortable and the decor was charming. The staff was very friendly. The Free box breakfast was a nice surprise as the breakfast was not included in the charge. Only thing we missed was a dinner in the manor as it was closed on the day.

Elegant boutique hotel in a gorgeous village with well-kept traditional Quebec houses and gardens. The restaurant is very good and worth going to even f you are not staying in the hotel.

The breakfasts are put in the fridge the day before. I understand that it is too expensive to bring in personnel just for a few rooms but a basket f fresh croissants or muffins would improve the experience. Also, some eke do not enjoy seeing mat on their breakfast plate.

we stayed here 11 years ago and loved it. it didn’t disappoint. it’s beautiful, each bedroom is different. the dining room is spectacular, romantic and the meals were delicious..

I didn’t like the breakfast box in our room. there used to be a beautiful breakfast buffet spread—I know because of Covid plus staffing that spread might not be doable BUT the egg sandwiches were dried up, and we were asked to eat in our room. ???

I was completely taken by surprise at this beautiful establishment. Far exceeded what I was expecting. Truly a warm, comfortable, welcoming place to stay. Beautiful decor, a lovely guest sitting room looking out onto lovely garden area. We had dinner at the restaurant (part of this hotell) and it was truly a goumet meal. This is a real treasure and I highly recommend not only stay but experience the amazing food in the dining room.

Beautiful room, spacious, bed extremely comfortable- VERY clean, tastefully decorated, located in historical (ancestral homes) area very pretty. Staff very pleasant!

there was breakfast included which turned out to be a lunchbox in the room. with the standard we received it is better not to do this way. we really missed a relaxed breakfast in the morning. we solved it by going to Bibi. which is 8km from the location which is really worth it.
