Mitch the front desk person checked me in and out.. he was very kind, funny and helpful. He took the time to tell me what was around, and his friendly demeanor was welcome after a long drive. Bartender was friendly, made an excellent burger for my first meal there.

no conditioner in the shower lots of extra hair though on the shower walls, floor and drains, none of which were mine. many light switches that did nothing, were inversed or at strange places. I had to use my phone flashlight to find the light switch to turn on the main lights second meal in the hotel was Lasagna, and it was ice cold, or burning hot.. the microwave oven she used to heat it up is not up to par.

Great hotel! The rooms are spacious, modern, with comfortable bed and great bathroom. The location is great! You don't need to stay very close to the Old Town. In this place you have easy access to the bus 55 and 24 that takes you everywhere. Nearby there is a bohemian street, great for a night out and go back walking to the hotel. Close to very good restaurants (UTO sushi), Schwartz Deli, the famous bagel shops...and only 15 minutes walking from Eaton or 12 min by bus.

The only thing I would say is that in my room the floor was slightly unlabeled and I could feel it while walking bare foot.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location and is close to many eateries and city transit facilities. This helps as being a hub to explore the beautiful and culturally rich city on Montréal. The room we stayed in was big. The bed even bigger and we felt right at home with the staff at their very best when catering to our needs. The building was very clean and there was not a single piece out of place. Definitely will be staying here on our future visits.

Nothing alarming really. We had a great stay and cannot recommend it enough. The only thing I will mention is that the per night pricing is slightly higher than most places, but you do get what you pay for.

The coffee machine in the room wasn't the greatest. The coffee was not very flavourful. The door frame and wall close to the floor in the bathroom looked really shabby. The plaster job to touch up the corner of the wall by the shower was not done well. Even though the room was clean this visual effect made me think the room was old and needed updating. There was also paint on the glass panels of the bathroom sliding door. One of the reading light bulbs was not working. The shower was hard to operate and the temperature was inconsistent. The room was prepared for one guest only. Only one glass, one bathrobe, one coffee mug.

I enjoy the location and they have valet service as well so I don't have to worry about finding parking.

The valet who was on duty most of the times I stayed (3 different times in 2 weeks) did not offer to help me at all with my suit cases. I had to ask him to open the door for me. The rooms on the side of Boul St-Laurent are extremely noisy, with large trucks coming through all night. They should have better windows. I've just learned to ask for a room on the opposite side.

Fabulous location for my purpose, attending JazzFest. There are many cafes, shops, banks and restaurants nearby, plus a metro station. Pleasant neighborhood near university. Would like to stay at same hotel again and explore the area a bit more. The room was very comfortable and had a great view. Room very clean and convenient, with coffee machine, safe, etc. Quiet, too.

The parking information was deceptive. I wrote ahead to ask about parking, as any downtown parking is complicated. The response was to refer me to their valet parking, even though I specifically asked about other options. I did some digging and found parking in a garage nearby for much less money. Guess this must be a profit maker for them. I heard a front desk employee use the same line on a guest checking in.

it’s located on an uphill, so we had a bit of challenge finding it on our first night. but once we got to know the bus system, the hotel location is pretty convenient. the staff are very helpful. they speak fluent French and English. they are prompt with requests like additional towel (and a bucket of ice when one of our companions had sprained her ankle). wifi is fast. decors are nice and elegant. im not sure about the noise that other reviews mentioned, but our room was located on the top floor (5th), and we didn’t here any party noise. will definitely come back again <3

Can’t beat the location. Staff were super accomodating with early check in and friendliness. Room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again.

It was a little pricey for what was on offer. While the room was excellent the price was a bit high for the quality of room, compared to other hotels I have stayed in. Saying that, I would stay again, mainly for location.

Perfect location. Affordable yet chic accommodations. Pet friendly. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Kind staff. We stay here every time we come MTL.

This is a small complaint but the last few times we’ve been in a room with accessibility configurations which we did not need. We’d love for those rooms to be reserved for those who need them.

I like that it was close to most neighborhoods, a 5-10 minutes walk from Place des Arts, close to various cafés and restaurants. The staff was nice. Overall it was great.

With being close to most central attractions comes also the noise and effervescence of a main street, day and night, which you have to be ready for if not used to it with a nice pair of earplugs.
