The ease of checking in was great and being able to conduct all affairs and communication through the app was a nice touch. Being able to add my wife to the stay was very helpful. Having access to a luggage storage room for early arrival and after made the trip much better. That was very appreciated! Oh, having access to the lobby bathroom was clutch—I stepped outside, crossed the street, and a bird pooped right into my open hand.

The floor under the bed could use a cleaning. I dropped something and looked under there...yikes!

clean, comfortable bed, excellent location, luggage storage, easy check in, prompt customer service through the app, close to main attractions- either a short walk or a quick ride on the metro., well stocked kitchen and bathroom essentials.

A suggestion would be to have a common washroom available in the lobby. Guests can check out at 11, store luggage in the storage room and continue to enjoy the city till their flight/ train. But once they have checked out of the room, there is no washroom access in the building.

Good location, in walking distance of metro and shops, quick connection to the Gare Centrale. Place was really nice and comfortable, equipped well and stocked with essentials. The self-serve luggage storage is a big benefit. The hallway perpetually smells of freshly baked bread thanks to the bakery downstairs.

We didn't receive the exact loft that we booked, though it is similar.

The place was very spacious, comfortable, and large windows to let in natural light. There were also a number of lamps to allow for soft light in the evening. TV service was fantastic too, ROKU TV. Full kitchen with utensils, coffee pot, kettle, pots pans, microwave, toaster, and oven. The shower and toilet facilities were very well kept. Large shower, good water pressure. On top of the shower room, there was also a washer and dryer as well as hanging space for any clothes. Very close to Mont-royal metro station and very close to lots of nearby shops. All in all, out of all the places I have ever stayed in my travels, Sonder has been the most impressive and comfortable, and I'd certainly stay again if I ever visit.

The location was perfect. A 5-minute walk from the station and trains are every 4 min so super convenient. Plus there's a bus stop right on the street of the hotel. Super cute, friendly, and safe neighborhood. The famous Montreal-style bagel shop is just around the corner and they also a bunch of really good restaurants and cafes around!! I saw reviews about the homeless population but honestly, it wasn't a problem. In what city are there no homeless people? As long as you treat them like normal people they won't bother you. Plus they usually hang around by the station and the convenience store in front so if you are scared I suggest you not leave your house. If needed anything I could text the concierge through the app or on the phone number provided. I found texting through the app was more helpful and had a more timely response. Although they do not have a front desk you can always request extra things when needed and will arrive the next morning.

The heating didn't work for us. After I called for help the staff came the next day to help change the thermostat. Turns out it just takes a long time to heat up. It increased one-degree Celsius every day so we were cold the first two days. So I also requested an extra blanket so that we could at least bundle up. There are also no disposable slippers but it's okay cause it saves the planet. So if you're traveling in the winter months definitely bring slippers because you do not want to walk around the apartment with wet and dirty shoes!

Great location! Very close to Mont Royal metro stop. Quiet even on weekend nights.

Needed more bath towels for a week-long stay, but there was a washer/dryer so not a deal breaker. Also dish towel and dish cloth would have been nice since we didn’t use enough dishes to warrant using the dishwasher (ended up using paper towels).

The location is amazing. So close to restaurants and shops in the Plateau. And steps away from the Metro so you can easily get anywhere else in the city. The apartment was spacious and had everything you would need. The Cafe downstairs had amazing fresh croissants.

The location of our room. Our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking Mont Royal and there is a bar right across the street. Thankfully Sonder thought of this and provided a white noise machine which we used every night and it worked to block the street noise. (It was unusually warm while we were and the patios were all open). Also the shower was very slow to drain.

the cleaning was not thorough. Towels of the previous customers were left in the bathroom. I wish there was more human interaction with the staff (other than the cleaning ladies). It felt a bit impersonal.

Excellent location in walking distance to Mont Royal Metro station which gives easy access to Downtown Montreal and all other Metro lines. Well equipped self contained apartment.

We stayed for 10 nights and were only provided with 2 towels. There is no daily service which was fine and we could wash our own towels but it would have been nice to have some extra towels on hand. Also it would have been good to have printed instructions for some of the appliances and TV. Visitors from other countries may not be familiar with how different models work. These things were very minor issues and would not stop me from staying there again.

Spotlessly clean, fabulous location in a vibrant Plateau neighborhood- tons of shops & restaurants, and highly pedestrianized! The place had all the amenities you could need, including a washer/dryer right in the unit. So well equipped, and the unit I rented (small studio on the 3rd floor) faced a small park and was away from busy Ave. Mont Royal.. street noise not an issue. Nice that they put out water and a few snacks downstairs in the lobby (there is generally no staff there, but on Fri AM there was someone at the desk for a few hrs). The code they give you opens the front door and your room. There is also a luggage strorage room off the lobby that uses the same code and was handy. At checkout, I put everything in there while I went a few blocks away to get the car. There is also an elevator, but there were a few steps to get up to the lobby-- no more than 5.

Nothing, really, but just a note about parking... it's non-existent in the area. You are best off parking on Drolet just to drop your bags, and parking yoour car for the duration somewhere close to a Metro station, then taking the Metro back to Sonder. The Metro station is literally 2 blocks away, and Montreal's Metro system is fast, clean, and reliable. Do your homework on the parking ahead ofo time, is my advice.
