i love everything about the grand hyatt and so did my wife. we were very satisfied with our stay.

i was a little disappointed that we were assigned the east wing of the hotel and the swimming area that my family enjoyed was on the west wing. i would think that hotel staff would know how to place their family reservations appropriately, but i am sure that a famous hotel like the Grand Hyatt would receive plenty of reservation. now that i know this, i will try to ask to be booked at the west wing of the building.

The Grand Hyatt Beijing has a fantastic, unbeatable location and is very convenient to go to all attractions such as Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven etc. The mall accessible at the basement level is also very convenient for food and shopping, and you can get to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street through the mall. The staff of Grand Hyatt are very helpful, efficient, and attended to needs immediately. The rooms are a little dated but there are many great features such as thermostat to control room temperature in each room, separate shower and bathtub, big comfortable bed and a good amount of space (important for families planning longer stays!). I would stay at the Grand Hyatt again. Definitely recommended.

Nothing major. Bathroom faucets (shower and sink) were stiff. Pillows a little too soft. Wish there were wall hooks for winter coats and bags.

We are a family of three, staying in the two-bedroom suite on the club floor in the new wing. The room is spacious and comfortable, and it feels like home. Everything is well thought out in the room: the facilities, hardware, fixtures, and even the toilets. Everything is top-notch. We really love the room and highly recommend it to families who want a quiet room with an excellent view of the Forbidden City. The breakfast on the club floor is excellent.

Nothing! Everything was perfect, and I don't usually say that. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept great every night I was there. We stayed a total of 5 nights with two seniors. It was so comfortable for them.

-location fantastic, very close to Oriental Plaza where we eat and shop; -check in process not ideal but then our problem been fixed, so I rate it good; -breakfast superior in value, service staff is indifferent, Balcony restaurant receptionist rude; -initial room we booked small than expected, but hotel upgraded us with little extra money, it turns out to be perfect! -swimming pool is better than anywhere we stay, I rated it superior -bathroom and shower all very modern, clean and comfortable, it is one of the best hotels we have stayed -hotel give us change so it is convenient and thoughtful -hotel car which takes us to the airport is fancy and clean, comfortable, driver not talk

--Balcony restaurant receptionist not so courtesy somewhat rude -initial room booked with booking com not as big as expected, so we have to pay to upgrade -no ATM around to take out money

Hyatt is s grest 5* asset. The location is perfect for the historical centre. Rooms are huge. Staff is efficient. This is a large hotel in a busy large city, so do expect a fair bit of crowding.

There is no ATM in the entire hotel! We needed some local currency (Yuan) to pay for a taxi, but the only thing the concierge could offer was to get us to walk to a nearby bank branch. We walked for about 15 minutes, got lost and were about to miss our flight. When we got back it turned out that there is a cash exchange machine on site. I wish we were told earlier... Other than this incident, the hotel is great.

1. Near to wangfujing metro, 2. near Wangfujing pedestrian street, 3. English speaking staff. 4. Luxurious feel. 5. No bad smell in hotel room or common spades. 6. Helpful polite staff of all levels and positions.

1. No Muslim menu. 2. Egg station uses same spade to cook egg with ham/pork and plain egg. Not hygienic. Please consider separate spade/tool. 3. Wall electrical socket is not the 3 pin Singapore type. Consider at least one 3 pin socket Singapore type on bedside table.

Stayed in 2 Bedroom Premier Apartment and it was superb. Very clean and fully equipped with all the necessities. Dyson hairdryer was provided. Plenty spaces for our luggages. Chief Service Ambassador, Mr. Alvin and Chief Concierge, Ms. Cecilia was very very helpful in assisting our needs during our 3 nights stay at the hotel. Will return if i were to go to Beijing in the future.

Water pressure in the bathroom can be much better with a stronger flow than the current one.

A first class hotel, conveniently located for all major attractions, direct access to a large mall and an incredible swimming pool. The service from all departments was excellent and there are several high quality restaurants within the hotel. The executive lounge is well worth the extra cost serving very good breakfasts and evening buffets. Overall excellent!

Liked: Grand Hyatt Beijing offered exceptional concierge service, ensuring a welcoming and memorable experience. The central location provided seamless access to key attractions, and the amazing pool served as a delightful retreat after city exploration.

Disliked: While the overall experience was positive with outstanding concierge service and an impressive pool, the room decor felt somewhat dated. However, this minor setback didn't overshadow the hotel's strengths, making it a solid choice for a memorable stay in Beijing.

I could hear talk whole night from my neighbors, felt each slashing doors from corridor… I could see the light from bottom of the door. I’ll expect a bit better from 5 stars quality. Maybe time to renovate…
