So much to like! Most importantly, the location was great! Close to a metro, 3-5 minute walk to the tourist bus station we used to get to Kangding for our Gongga trek, as well as Emeishan. There are a lot of food options around, with a thriving little community. We ate at a small local restaurant a few times and loved it. Also, the street food was good. The place itself was nice. The lobby has a hostel feel with books, a guitar, an ukulele as well. Easy check in and payment with either cash or QR code (wexing). There's a laundry place which cost 7 Kwai a load. Finally, no kitchen, but a microwave on premises. The room had two bottles of drinking water, candies, towels, mosquito coils, water boiler, room slippers, toothbrush, and plenty of outlets to charge your stuff!
The bed was really stiff, like it needed to be changed. I woke up with back pains. The place itself while well maintained, is a bit dated. It was hard to find. Since I can't use Google, it was hard for my Cab to find where to drop me off. It's located right next to the metro entrance!

Location is the best is located right in front of xinnamen station exit D. All of the staff are extremely helpful and nice. Some of them speak English very well, some arent but they are will to help. Around hotel has plenty of food stalls, convenient stores from early morning to late night.
The entrace of the hotel looks a little scary and reek of cigarette but inside hotel is fine.

- It has very good location, you come out from subway exit D, then just can see the enterence of this hotel (Make me feel that the subway exit and the hotel's enterence are almost conected). - All of the employees are so kind, and actively help their guests. - We can use the 'We Chat' messenger to contact them, if we have some problem with our room. After they check the message, just come to our room to check the detail of problem or help us to solve the problem. - I arrived at there about 10 p.m., but the employee was still waiting for me at the reception desk. So I didn't need to wait and could check-in immediately. - They provide shampoo, shower gel, teeth brush, toothpaste, towel, bath towel, tolet papers, some tea, water and bathroom slippers.
- There are some moldy and stains, so make me didn't want to step in the shower booth and couldn't make me put my things on the shelves. - Some rooms are in the upstairs, but they didn't have elevator for that rooms. Besides, the stairs are too narrow, so not very easy to bring our stuff up. - If you arrive late, your room window will probably be open. So you need to check up, and need to close them to prevent bitten by mosquitoes. - The shower faucets are three type, but I could not use the upper one and lower one, only could use the middle one. So it made me feel littlebit uncomfortable when I wash my long hair.

The staff were so kind and welcoming! they helped us book tours and arrange our plans for our time in Chengdu.
The window in my room wouldn’t close so it was a bit noisy at night.

Great location - next to Metro station. Also daily cleaning and providing water was efficient. The owner was kind enough to meet me in person at the Airport (maybe because I booked a single room for 2 + weeks?), which was very much appreciated!
No refrigerator (even in the private rooms!), which makes it impossible to bring back morning breakfast items (milk, juice, yogurt, bread, fruits etc). Reception staff are generally helpful, but only 1 can really communicate well in English. My initial room had noisy neighbors above me (screaming and stomping at 3-5 AM!) and after a few sleepless nights I was able to change rooms (which was a big improvement). Beds (in both rooms) were VERY hard (even though I've lived in Asia for a long time) which took time to get used to.

Worth the price, ideal for a group of three. Includes a private toilet, and cleanliness is also at 100%. The reception staff is very helpful; they assisted me with a delivery service that required China Resident Identity Verification, which I really appreciated. The location is near the railway station, which is very convenient, with local eateries within walking distance. They also provide daily room service upon request.
Our room is close to the garden, which I believe serves as the public facilities floor for all residential units. Sometimes, you might still hear people talking loudly even late at night. I wanted to use the washing machine, but there's only one available in the shared space, and it's always occupied. I hope they can invest in more washing machines, haha. Additionally, the entry to the hostel requires passing through a quirky hallway that also smells bad.

Having an English-speaking staff made our stay incredibly smooth—they were always ready to help with whatever resources they had, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. On our first day, they even took the time to show us the room before we paid, knowing we were a bit unsure. It felt reassuring to have that flexibility. With our room key came a thoughtfully prepared city map, complete with must-visit spots highlighted—like a personalized tour guide in paper form. When we decided to extend our stay, they even offered us a discount for the additional night—definitely a welcome surprise! The staff was amazing at helping us get around the city. They used their apps to call us taxis and shared tips on navigating the city and getting back to the airport without breaking the bank. In the lobby, they had a curated list of the city's top attractions, complete with descriptions and their locations marked on the map, making it so much easier to plan our outings. The room itself was spotless, with fresh amenities restocked every morning. It was clear that they cared about keeping everything in top-notch condition. When it was time to check out, they provided a locker room where we could leave our luggage without any time limits—a godsend since our flight was scheduled for late at night. This gave us the freedom to spend our last day shopping and exploring without worrying about our bags. They even offered a portable scale to weigh our hand luggage, free of charge! Overall, the experience was so warm and welcoming it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like spending a relaxing holiday with family. It was truly a home away from home!
The property is located on the fifth floor of the building, and honestly, the ground floor doesn't exactly scream "outstanding service awaits!" But don't let first impressions fool you—what's upstairs is a whole different story. And to be fair, the ground floor vibe isn’t the property’s fault at all!

Great location around lots of eateries and just in front of the metro station’s D exit. If one carries bulky luggage, they may use exit C is just an additional 2-3 mins walk further up with lift. The hostel is located at lvl 5 that is a single level hostel so it is bulky luggage friendly properties. The housekeeping is clean and does daily cleaning if required. They also include green initiation that allows guest to reuse their linen such as mattresses and towels. The staff is friendly in all departments that include the night duty security uncle too. One will never regret to choose to stay in this property.

Loved the vibe, the chic shared spaces, the cute little room, and the friendly staff. The garden, books, and living area was lovely. More chairs and little tables on the roof garden would be great.
The reception forgot to charge me upon arrival (I assumed I had paid online) and therefore banged on my door after midnight, awakening me (and also frightening me a bit, to be honest).

Location was perfect. I requested to change to change rooms, since I wasn’t getting along with the other people in my dorm, and the staff was very accommodating about it. Lots of patio places and other places to hang out. There’s a place to do your laundry, and a packet of laundry detergent for one load of laundry is 1 RMB from the front desk. Probably my favorite hostel I’ve stayed at.
My only complaint is that there are no windows in the dorms. This was hard for me because I usually depend on the sun to wake up. It smells kind of bad in some of the halls, but this is something that was easy for me to overlook personally.
