Everything: 1. Hot tea + free water at the counter 2. Good English (receptionist) 3. Clean, beautiful room full of amenities, the best since my Hong Kong and Shenzhen trip 4. Great breakfast, much better than the hotel in Shenzhen. 5. Affordable price I stayed at 5 hotels during my trip to Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Guangzhou (include the expensive Disneyland Resort), but this hotel compelled me to leave a review thanks to all of the above. The Disneyland resort is of course similar (if not better), but the price was like 5 times more expensive compared to this.

The staff were helpful and the hotel was clean and easily accessible. It was great value for money, the bed was comfortable, the shower hot, the linen spotless, and the towels cleaned daily. I wouldn’t say it was a luxury hotel, but it was certainly functional and comfortable, which was perfect for a busy business trip.

The breakfast could have been a little more fresh, such as some more local fruit and cold milk.

Very nice and clean hotel, well equipped even with free laundry self service on the top floor. Bed mattress is wonderful, drinking water supply is excellent. Staffs are wonderful. Close to metro.

The drop off at the hotel should not be blocked so we can get on/off the car/taxi easier. We have to get on and off by the front street and there's often too many traffic.

Beautiful room, we have been travelling for 6 months and it was the nicest by far. Great super. Comfy bed. They let us checkout 2 hours late free of charge.

The only downside was the coffee machine didn’t work either day and nothing was done to fix it. Hard to find affordable coffee in Guangzhou so this was disappointing and annoying!! Also, smoking rooms on the same floor as the breakfast restaurant - smells so bad.

The front desk staff were very helpful even with the language barrier. Comfortable spacious roomsrooms. Gives you value for money

Breakfast options were good… with mix of western and Chinese options. Staff was very helpful.

There was nothing that we didn’t like just the first night the pillow cases were not clean but we informed the staff and they changed it instantly.

The staff is excellent and very friendly, always willing to assist the customer. The hotel is located at the old city centre, but is in the middle between the new city centre, the markets, the Canton fair with a free shuttle bus as well. The area is safe and you can feel it. I would prefer it though if they renovated it. I am staying there again on my next business trip here

It needs some renovation

The hotel staff can speak English and they are very helpful. I got the metro map in English from the hotel. And the hotel has weighing machine so I can check the weight of my luggages before checking in. I got the room at 10.00 am before the check in time. They are very nice. Hotel in non smoking floor has no smell at all. Breakfast has a lot of options. I love Chinese Asian food there.

Location is convenient, supermarket and restaurant just beside the hotel. Staff also very polite. Overall good stay experience here.

Cigarettes smell everywhere. If you're not a smocker must choose non smoking floor which is level 3 and 7. Table for breakfast is too less, always need to share tables with others. No bidet spray in toilet.

The staff were very helpful. They booked us a cab going to the airport because we were scammed the first time so they helped us get a ride to the airport. Water is unlimited. You can get bottled water in the lobby anytime.
