Staff were extremely helpful . Location great for eateries and sightseeing
Noisy. Windows are not double glassed, so constant street noise and neighbouring rooms. Reserved a club level hottub room. No club lounge or advantages and hottub was only a small bath. My bad expected a jacuzzi.

Location was very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of western food items. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool after coming tired from the rice terraces. The room was quite spacious with comfortable bed. I will recommend the hotel to everyone especially for family with kids.

Great location. All main sights are just around the hotel. Standard for mariott class of service which is good. We were during off season, so it was quiet and nice.

It's difficult to give a review when a hotel is in the middle of renovation. But I would like to comment on the service. Even though Guilin is essentially a city focused on tourism the staff exceeded my expectations when it came to efficiency, friendliness, and attitude. Front desk, concierge, breakfast and café and pool staff, they were all offered excellent service!
The breakfast didn't offer a whole lot of vegetarian options and it was the same everyday. The pool is weird. 90% of the pool is 2.9 meters deep and 10% is 1.4 meters deep. This means EVERYONE swims in and around the small 1.4m area and the rest of the pool is empty. Not sure what they can do about that but that was my only complaint as we stayed during a very hot summer and needed to cool off every day but couldn't really enjoy it as it was too crowded in that one area.
