The real bonus staying in this hotel is the Panmen Garden connected to it. Take an early morning or late evening stroll, when there's no crowd, to truly enjoy its tranquility . When the Garden was lit up in the evening, the view was simply stunning. We could not finish exploring the Garden during our 2 days' stay there. There is a pagoda, a watch tower, an ancient city wall, and more, all within or connected with Panmen Garden. This is a good place to stay to quiet and calm one's soul. The breakfast was great too, with a good spread.

Our room's air-conditioning was noisy and warm when we first checked in. It took a few attempts for the technicians to solve the problem. There was no such issue in the other 2 rooms we booked for our children. Other than that, the stay was almost perfect.

We highly recommend the hotel in Suzhou, 10 minutes walk to metro. But Didi is really cheap there. -The hotel style was very chinese which was great. -The garden near by was really nice to walk to during the day and also during the night, -We rented Hanfu dress for free for an hour which was also very nice. -Room was clean and comfortable, a little small tho -breakfast really nice and big but no halal food. -supermarket across the street

-All restaurants and hotel kitchen closes before 9...so if you got hungry you have nothing to eat ! We really didnt appreciate that at all. -indoor pool was not really nice and the outdoor pool was closed. -only 2 people from the satff spoke English. Rest had zero english which is not normal for a 5 stars hotel... No halal food at all so we had to stick to veggies.

I liked my room with a balcony facing a nice view and those twin beds were so comfortable. We had our dinner at Hai Tien Lou, it's delicious with reasonable pricing. Last but not least, I would like to thank the 吳宮值班經理. My clumsiness left my phone in the room and I only found out in the midnight before asleep. He managed to go extra miles for me and delivered my phone to my hotel in Shanghai the next day. Your kindness and willingness to help are much appreciated. Thank you for everything:)

There is no bar for drinking.

Almost everything was perfect except for the internet connection that was a real problem. If you go to this hotel on holidays, it's a really nice place, but if it's for work be prepared with the WiFi...

The internet connection was awful and this was really difficult to work from the room (impossible with the WiFi). By chance we bought a SIM card with 5G data access and like that we worked. The level of IP packet losses was so high that even when we connected to our own email servers oversea we were blacklisted dur to a too high amount of connexion from the same IP address (the hotel). This point has to be definitly solved oherwise I would not come back to this hotel for a business trip.

The hotel is at the front of Pan Men, a sight seeing spot in Suzhou. And the guests stay in the hotel can enter Pan Men with unlimited access, which is a huge plus. The hotel itself is very nicely renovated with a beautiful touch of Chinese style furniture. Rooms are spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Shower is delightful.

The air con didn’t see to work during our stay, it’s not a big deal as we opened the window to cool down the room, but would be nice if the air con could work.

Excellent location. Hotel is located in a tourist attraction with Pan Men Garden in the backyard, free complimentary access for customers. Hotel is literally built on a castle wall. Taxi and Didi drivers can drive up, making it extremely convenient for pick ups and drop offs. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Honourable mention to the doorman Mr Ding who was very helpful and friendly to have a chat with. Hotel does provide a list of available activities to do if you are unsure what to do on those relaxing days off in Suzhou. Highly recommend booking a hotel room with breakfast included as breakfast is a pretty decent all-you-can-eat buffet.

During winters only heating AC is available. Would have been much better if AC could also do cooling, which was disabled. Be aware that there are occasionally mosquitoes at night, but the hotel does provide an insect repelling device in each room which was quite effective.

I really like the unique traditional Chinese garden architectural design of this hotel. Everything is exquisitely designed and beautiful, especially the pond in the backyard, the small bridge and flowing water, the stone-carved stone altar reflected in the pond water, and the palace-like design at the entrance. When I check in at night , brightly lit, especially beautiful. The size of the room is moderate and the mattress design is comfortable. I am very satisfied with this stay and hope to stay again in the future.

The hotel is quite big and needs some signage to tell people how to go up and downstairs and how to get to the backyard.

Every nice environment and ambience, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There's free access to the garden attraction next to the hotel.

The garden attraction broadcasts music throughout its opening hours, so will need to get use to the music. Thankfully, the music isn't too loud. The other downside is hotel is about 15-20mins car ride from the main attractions.

I like their coupons with Panmen and Ancient canal cruise, those are good to me getting more understanding in Suzhou. You guys should stay one night with that hotel.

They should guide guests to the assigned seats for the breakfast but not let them find what they wanted. I found one elder couple getting my seat during my 3rd round to get the food back. At that time, I don’t want to argue nor complain to them and the staffs. Later I wrote it down since I prefer that hotel to think about how to improve that procedure to make sure each guests get the exactly seats and enjoy their food.

Friendly staff and responsive reception staff. Well trained and performed good service recovery. The hotel was beautiful and free admission to Panmen garden, a scenic spot in Suzhou.

Pick up point is at level 3 for "di di" transport. Will be good to inform guest upfront. We alighted at the road side and have to figure out how to walk to receiption at level 3 lugging along our luguages in the cold late night.
