hotel was excellent and location was just perfect. it was about 10 minutes walk to Jinbi and Nanqiang walking street. breakfast had many options. even though we are vegetarians, the hotel had adequate food options for us. Rooms were very nice and with comfortable beds. I would like to take this opportunity to thanks the staff of Cachet Boutique Artime for taking care of us when we staying there, especially Mr. Luo Tao, (night manager) who helped me to the hospital in the middle of the night, as I had some emergency. He really went out of his way to make me feel as much comfortable as possible during my hard time that night.

Very presentable and fully furnished. Though I didn't get to enjoy all of the facilities, the hotel was comfortable enough to allow my partner and I to have a good rest at the end of our day. The shower facilities were clean, bed and sheets were nice and comfortable. The breakfast was decent. The room was well-stocked with the cleaning essentials and I enjoyed the complimentary fruits when we checked in on the first day.

The air-conditioning was lacking. I'm not sure if it was because of the chilly weather. However, when I got to the hotel room at the end of my day, I just needed better ventilation in the room. We were trying to adjust the fan speed and comfortable temperature, we just could not get the air-conditioning set to the settings we wanted. We slept in a poorly ventilated room and we got around the situation by using our portable electric handheld fan (switched it on throughout the night) to improve the room ventilation.

Bed is comfy. Location is quiet and modern with lots of bars and cafes nearby. Toilet has separate shower and toilet bowl. Extra touches to the room such as the fruit platter, assorted nuts, coffee and tea in the room made the stay pleasant. Hotel is within walking distance from the main areas of the city.

Heater is weak and room can get a bit cold during the night. Staff could also be a little friendlier - 2 out of the 3 that we interacted with felt like they were not interested to answer questions or give recommendations with their one liner responses. Place can also be a little challenging to find initially as cars cannot drive into the area - have to stop at the side of the main road and walk in.

Modern hotel with good facilities. The rooms are clean, spacious and the bed is big and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Not all of them can speak English, but translation apps are to the rescue. Breakfast has a decent variety of local and western dishes. The hotel is located in a trendy area, within walking distance from major attractions. By using Didi it's cheap and convenient to go around by taxi.

The first night it was really hot in the room. Because of winter season, the airconditioning wasn't functioning. Therefore I had to open the window which gave noise from the nearby bars and restaurants.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable. It is very considerate that they provide two pillows, one is soft and the other is harder, so you can pick the one you like. Location of the hotel is very convenient. It is within walking distance to the center of Kunming, Jin Ma Bi Jing Fang. Lots of food and shopping choices there. Breakfast is included and there are decent options. They also provide fresh fruits everyday, which is not common even in China. Hotel staffs are really nice and helpful. We booked two rooms because there are 4 people in our group. But due to plan change, 3 people need to leave one day early. After we arrived at the hotel, we asked the staff whether we can cancel the last day’s reservation for one room. The staffs kindly agreed. They worked with Booking.com to cancel the last day’s reservation for both rooms (because they are under the same reservation), then extended the reservation of one room with the same price that I got from Booking originally. We really appreciate their kindness.

Good location, good attitude of the service staff, small but well equipped room and the room temperature is well controlled. Breakfast was good , just a little less varied.

The room we stayed in had a bad view. In addition, the curtain can only be opened and closed completely, and cannot be opened or closed halfway. There are a few lights in the room that won't turn on. There is no place to hang towels in the bathroom/washroom. The hotel is good, improve the small faults, it will be better.

Excellent location , but away from the hustle bustle of the city. Staff are exceptional.They are friendly,helpful and would go out of the way to help their guest.A special thank you to two staff members,, Zoey and Ivy. Zoey helped us to liaise with our tour guide as we had no means to make local phone calls.She was always cheerful and happily offered her help. Ivy ,a very kind and caring young lady ,accompanied us to the local hospital when we had a medical emergency..She did this on her own time.She helped us to translate and navigate through the procedures in a Chinese hospital.It would have been difficult without her help.We are forever grateful to Ivy.

The rooms are nice looking on the surface but things just don't work as they should, lighting is way to complicated and the showers are disgusting, Look dirty. The breakfast is very average as well. Overall it's not terrible but needs some reno work and a communication lesson to the staff.

Truly a boutique hotel with unique building design. Staff are attentive and helpful to our needs. Convenient location with many places within walking distance. Little details and offerings in the room are very surprisingly good - not usually found in Chinese hotels. Breakfast spread is good but can improved with variety especially when staying for many days. Cachet is my kind of hotel. Definitely will recommend 😊

The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There were sweet touches, such as a fruit platter, free mini-bar and fresh flowers in the room. The cleaners even folded my clothes. The breakfast had a good range of options. The location was great. We were able to walk to popular attractions such as the East and West pagodas, old town and Green Lake. The hotel was in a converted industrial area and had a fantastic brewery next door, as well as other bars and restaurants in the front courtyard. The staff spoke English and were very helpful.
